Chpater 10

(Maraia's POV)

"I love you." Jason whispered

The words cut through me like a knife. I couldn't believe he said that so early into our relationships. I noticed i had stalled when Jason pulled away from the hug with a confused look on his face.

"May, are you okay?" He asked.

"Uhh. I'm fine. I just- i need to go." I ran out of the door leaving Jason behind.

I was already five minutes away before I came back to reality.

"OH MY GOD IM SO STUPID!" I screamed.

'Why didn't I say it back.' I thought. I cranked up the radio and Bullet with butterfly wings came on by smashing pumpkins.

When i heard it i thought of Jason. "Smashing Puppies!?" Ran through my mind.

I couldn't help it I started balling. Tears ran down my face and blurred my vision. I pulled into the Wallgreens parking lot and just cried. I wasn't just crying because of Jason. It was everything. Every bad thing that happened to me in the past year that i've held in just came out.

When I calmed down i walked into the store and ran to the candy isle.I grabbed a hand full of reese's minis and a handful of m&m's

'Hey i was upset i can eat if i want.'

Then I went to the drink isle and got a 24 pack of dr. pepper. When i went up to the counter Start Trek into darkness was available so i bought that too.

The total was $31.52 when I walked out of the store I slipped in a puddle of water and was stared at by the boy scouts selling popcorn.

They gave me a "Wtf is wrong with you?" look so i flipped them off.

Im on my period dont mess with me.

I pulled up to my house and no one was home."Thank God." I whispered to myself.

I walked into the house and popped the top on a dr. pepper And ripped the bag open to some Reese's minis. I popped in into darkness and slipped into my Pj's.

Halfway into the movie my phone went off.

It was Jason.

Jason: Hey! Im sorry! I dont know what I did. Can I come over? Make it up to you ;)

"WHAT THE HELL!" I yelled through my house.

I immediatly called him.

*ring* *ring* *ring* "Hello?" I heard Jason say.

"What is wrong with you?" I yelled.

"What are you talking about!?" He yelled back.

"IM NOT HAVING SEX WITH YOU!" I screamed through the phone.

I heard the phone click off.

"Real mature Jason." I said to myself.

I broke down crying again.

I had my face covered in a pillow. I could feel my warm tears down my face and all over the pillow. After laying there for about 15 minutes I started to doze off.

I was jolted awake to a pair of hands.

"JASON!!" I screamed.

"Shhhh. I'm sorry I didn't mean having sex with you." He re assured me.

"Here." He said as he pulled me into a hug

He held me there for a second and then pulled away. When he did he saw left over tears under my eyes rolling down my cheeks.

"Babe why were you crying!?" He asked concerned

'It was nothing. I promise. I was just sad about everything." I assured

"Babe it was obviously not just nothing you seem really upset." He said.

He got up off the couch and walked to the bathroom. "I have to pee I'll be right back." He said with a chuckle.

When I heard him close the door i did something i normally wouldn't do.

I grabbed my phone and texted him.

(Jason's POV)

My phone went off right when I walked into the bathroom.

It was Maria.

Maria: Will you still love me tomorrow?

Confused by the text I walked out of the bathroom. When I did there Maria was with a smile. Sprawled out on the wearing only a bra and underwear.
