Chapter 01

KIEFER'S P.O.V.

"Hi babe" I greeted my life's MVP through skype. I'm currently lying on my bed hugging my color green pilow and covered with my blue blanket.

"You sound sleepy na babe. You sure you still want to talk about my day pa?" She asked.

Isa to sa mga nagustuhan ko sakanya eh. Yung pagiging concern niya lagi. I won't ever get annoyed with her.

"Uhm yes babe I'm sleepy. Pero gusto ko mag share ka bout your day. If it's okay with you lang naman eh." Sabi ko, syempre nag pacute ako habang sinasabi yan.

"We really didn't had enough time kanina cause your busy training eh." I continued.

"Sorry babe. Okay okay, i'll start na. Uhm, there was really nothing new naman eh. Just this one HAHAHAHA"

What? Why? Why is she laughing now?

"Babe, why? Can you please go and tell me na? I'm kinda curious na eh." I said.

"Ganito kasi, dumating yung anak ni coach kanina with his mom syempre then we played with him during our break time tapos when coach Ramil called us to continue na, his son cried! Gosh babe you wouldn't believe what happened next. HAHAHA" She burst out and laugh again.

But this time, I didn't react na. I just waited for her to continue while smiling.

"Tapos babe, the solution for the problem of my story, coach Ramil should sing and dance the nursery rhyme na tatlong bibe."

"Seriously babe?! HAHA Omygosh!" I commented while letting out a giggle. After few seconds of silence between us, she let out a heavy sigh.

"You don't look interested with my story Kief. Maybe I should just take a sleep." She said and rolled her eyes.

Oh no. Wag naman sanang mangyari ulit yung kinatatakutan ko. Always kasi niyang nami-misinterpret galaw ko although wala akong ibang meaning dun.

"No babe! I swear it's funny! Please don't get me wrong." Here I am again, begging for her to believe me.

But instead of hearing the words I want to hear like 'it's fine babe', her face on my phone's screen disappeared which means she already ended the call. Great -_-

Guess I will have another hard time of making the 'US' alright again.

While thinking of some plans to win this war, I remembered someone...

Flashback

-------------------- PHONE CALL -------------------

"Oh ano na? Okay na kayo?" She interrogated me if her plan was successfully accomplished.

"Oh gosh Ly! Yes she said yes! Thank you talaga ha? I hate to say this but yes, I owe you a big one!" I told Alyssa about what happened awhile ago as I asked Mika to be my girlfriend.

Yes your right. Alyssa Valdez was the one who helped me to propose to Mika. The Phenom is my bestfriend.

"See? I told you Kief! HAHA I won't say it's just nothing because it's really not. Haha but I'm telling you this, now that you already have her, if you two will fight, you can call me."

Swerte ko talaga sa babaeng to. Wala na akong masabi.

"Thank you Ly. Sobra, salamat talaga. Uhm 11:11 pm na oh, I hope and pray that you'll find yours too like how I did earlier."

"And I hope you'll be much happier this time." She said from the other line.

"Thanks again and good night Ineng."

"Anytime Manong, good night too."

End of flashback

I let out a deep breath as I reminisce those moments. The first 8 months that are full of happy memories. Yung pareho kaming nag eeffort, parehong nasasaktan pag may away, ngayon kasi parang ako nalang.

But just like what Alyssa said when Mika and I had our fight that almost led us to the end of our relationship,

"BE STRONG KIEF, WHENEVER THIS CIRCUMSTANCE HAPPEN AGAIN, ALWAYS REMEMBER THE REASON WHY BOTH OF YOU STARTED THIS. HA? WAIT FOR HER EXPLANATION. BAKA DI NIYA SINASADYA YUN."

Yan lang yung always kong iniisip pag may away kami ni Mika. And by remembering that, there's this positive something inside my body telling me to work harder for our relationship.

So I sent Mika a good night message.

To: Mika Reyes <3

Babe, sorry kung nabadtrip kita kanina ha? I hope alam mo na never akong magsisinungaling sayo. I think you're asleep na, so good night babe :) Iloveyou!
......... Sent 11:43 pm

About 3 mins later, I dialed Aly's phone number.

Ring.... Ring....

"Please Ly... Please please please answer..."

Luckily, on the third ring, she answered na.

"I still have a morning training tomorrow from 4:30 to 6:00 am and my class starts at 10:00 am pa. Won't be free in the afternoon. What is it mister?" She said.

Halatang halata na nagising ko siya. Haha halos di na nga maintindihan mga sinabi niya. Pero wala na akong ibang sinabi.

"Ly, I need your help."
