Ysay On The Move

After few days of preparation and training for the most awaited Championship of UAAP Women's Volleyball Season 78, the De La Salle Lady Spikers won the crown.

Many of the Ateneo supporters got sad, Alyssa's aware of that because when the confetti almost filled the whole court, and when the Lady Spikers were already announced as the champion, the blue crowd went silent.

Nakikita niya 'yong ibang mga sumusuporta sakanila na nawalan ng saya. She became sad as well thinking that she disappointed them.

So after telling her teammates to smile and be happy, she began walking around the court trying to arise the energy of theur fans.

A big smile flashed in her face and her tears started to fall at the same time thinking that this would be her final flight representing the Ateneo de Manila University.

"Ly, phone mo oh. May tumatawag." Mona said. Their student manager. She grabbed her phone and thanked her.

She saw Kiefer's name on the screen.

"Oh, tumawag ka?"

"Bawal icongratulate ang MVP? Haha congrats Ly! So proud of you."

"Eh di nga nanalo eh. Sayang."

"Syempre dapat hindi. Para pareho tayo, di nga din kami nanalo eh. Haha"

"Mukha mo."

"Di bitaw, siguro kung nanood ako mananalo kayo."

"Ewan ko sayo hoy! Sige salamat nalang. Bye Kief!"

And Alyssa ended the call. When her co-lady eagles heard Ly mention Kiefer's name, they teased their team captain.

"Uy, ate Ly ha? Sino 'yon?" Ponggay said wiggling her eyebrows up and down.

"Pauwiin mo na kasi ate Ly!" It was Jia who said that.

Then the others, Mae, Kiwi, Bea, and Therese agreed. Alyssa can't defend herself because they won't her.

She felt saved when sir Toni came, told them to stop and prepare themselves for the thanks giving later so the lady eagles did.

"I'm so proud of these ladies. They made my college life much happier that it could be." Alyssa though to herself staring at her temmates hiding their sadness with smiles.

Alam niya na malungkot ang mga teammates niya, pero di nila yon oinakita sa iba because they all wamt their fans to be happy lang always.

When they are all already settled inside the bus, she took out her phone and replied to Kiefer's text message.

"Katatawag lang kaina, nag text na agad ah?" Mae said who's just beside her.
"Nakamove on na?" She added.

Di na sumagot si Ly kasi di din naman niya alam kung naka-move on na ba talaga si Kief, the only thing she knows is that after what happened outside the beg, (nung nagkabati sila) mas naging close sila ni Kiefer.

YSAY'S P.O.V.

We're here na kuya. Bago lang po.

I smiled after reading her message. Nung araw kasi na nakita ko si Alyssa and Kiefer hugging, I almost lost myself.

Flashback

Umalis na si Jho, I was left here looking how Kiefer embrace Alyssa with his arms. I felt my cheeks a little wet, my fists closed.

Shit. Di ko to kayang tingnan. I closed my eyes and bowed my head downwards. Tumalikod na ako, nakayuko akong nag lakad papunta sa BEG.

Nandun na daw sila Marck, at Rex. Pinunasan ko luha ko, I don't want them to think that I am this weak to cry over a girl.

Haha tanga nag yakapan lang sila bobo mo parts iiyak ka na agad?

"Pre. Parating na daw sila coach." Sabi ni Rex pag dating ko sa loob ng BEG. Kasama niya si Therese. Syempre girl friend niya.

"Saan si Marck?" I asked Rex who's busy caressing Therese's hair.
"Ay, hi Ther!" I greeted her and she respondned naman.

Rex pointed Marck with Amy and Von. Naguusap sila tapos biglang lumingon si Von sa direction namin nila Rex at Therese.

"Mga Pre! Therese! Una na ako ha? Tawagin ko pa si Kiefer." He said. I waved my hand as a good bye. It was Kiwi now who bade her good bye and went outside as well with Therese.

"I saw you kanina bro." Rex said as I sat beside him. I just gave him a saw-me-what look. Di siya sumagot, he just laughed shaking his head sidewards.

"Tangina bro! Dapat di ka umiyak! Make a move na kasi Marasigan."

"Tangina din Marck no. Ang hirap kaya!" I exclaimed to Marck. Loko to :3 Akala niya siguro madali lang eh.

"Kaya nga make a move diba? Ysay, wag mo hayaan na matalo ka without trying to fight. Kung ako sayo simulan ko na lumaban." Sabi ni Rex. Wala na akong sinabi, somehow, I find their advices helpful.

"Pre, it doesn't matter if you lose or win. Ang importante lumaban ka. You know that cause you are an athlete." Marck was the one who finished our convo before coach and the others came.

So here I am, making a move. Trying my best to win this fight.
