This Time

"Ah Tita, Kiefer's sleeping na po. I didn't wake him up nalang tita to say good bye, instead I left a note beside his phone po."

I am going home na. I promised mom that I'll be there for family dinner eh. Then after eating dinner, I'll go back to Katipunan na.

"Sige Ly. Take care ha? Say hi to your family for me. And oh, nag handa ako ng adobo. Iuwi mo na rin, I know it's your fav. Kiefer once told us eh haha"

Tita Mozzy handed me the packed meal.

"Thank you tita." I said with glee.

"No Ly, thank you. Thank you for being here for my son instead of being with your family. Babawi ako Ly."

"No problem Tita. I'll always be here for Kief."

After our conversation, I went home. While the traffic light signaled us to stop, I checked my phone to see mom's message.

From: Mama

Nak? Take care ha? Your brothers are here na. Bago lang. I love you!

I smiled because of my mom's sweetness. I will always feel blessed and thankful to have my mom. To have my family.

After a long drive on my way to San Juan, I'm already here.

I parked my car and went out. I greeted my dad as I saw him.

"Hi Pa! Sorry talaga ha? I have a long story to tell later."

"It's okay Ly. Masaya ako na dumating ka ng safe." Papa hugged me.

"Tara. Pasok na tayo, hinihintay na nila tayo sa loob."

And so we did. When my kuyas saw me, they approache me with a big hug.

Minsan talaga nakakalimutan nila na kahit 5'9 ako, malalaki parin sila.

"Kuyaaa. Tama na, di na ako makahinga oh? Mawawalan kayo ng ading na maganda." I joked them.

"Matagal na kaming walang kapatid na maganda no."

"Che!" I punched their arms jokingly as they tried to shield themselves.

"Ly masakit ha. Spiker ka baya!"

Haha. Oh I forgot, napalakas ata palo ko sakanila eh.

"Tama na yan, kain na tayo. Tara"

While eating, we had so many chikas to tell. They asked me about how my trainings went, about my studies, Kiefer, and Ysay.

"Ano po ma?" I was bothered kasi when they mentioned Kiefer's condition.

Kiefer, being one of the most popular basketball players in the Philippines, it is not impossible naman if the news about him and Mika has already spread right?

"Si Ysay nak, nag text sakin kanina. He was asking if you're home na because you're not replying his messages daw, I said you're still driving. So, naitext mo na ba?"

"Ay sige po ma. After ko kumain I'll text him po."

After dinner

I'm currently here at my room. I was packing my things up when I heard my phone rang.

Ysay is calling. Nakalimutan ko palang itext siya kanina. I was so busy texting with Kief, we were talking about his current condition, he keeps on saying that he's okay na daw, but tita Mozzy texted me that Kiefer's being stubborn again, ayaw nanaman daw niyang kumain. Psh

I answered Ysay's call...

"Hello, Ysay? I'm sorry di ako nakatext sayo kanina ha? I'm kinda tired eh."

"It's okay Ly, I just wanted to remind you about tomorrow's event."

Ah yeah, Ateneo Men's Volleyball Team and the Women's Volleyball Team will train together tomorrow.

"Ah oo nga eh. Kaya I'm rushing now, I need to go back to Katipunan as fast as I could, kailangan ko makapagpahinga eh." I said and reached for my bag full of things I will need while I'm at Katipunan.

"You must be really tired no? Sige ako bahala."

"What do you mean ikaw ba--"

Toot toot toot

He just ended the call. I stared at my phone's screen for about 5 secs trying to figure out what Ysay meant to say.

"Naah, it's just nothing.." I talked to myself.

I went downstairs na and too much to my surprise, I saw my whole family talking to Ysay. Whole family I mean, mama, papa, kuyas and yung ading ko.

"Oh, andiyan na pala si Alyssa. Anak, dali andito na si Ysay."

I asked papa what's happening cause I don't really have any idea what's going on right now.

He explained to me that Ysay asked mama if he could fetch me nalang dito sa bahay. They thought that it would be an advantage for me so that I could take a nap while on our way to Katipunan if Ysay will be the one who will drive. So they said yes, they allowed Ysay to fetch me.

After bidding our goodbyes and kisses, I and Ysay went to his car. We are now on our way to our second home.

"Ysay ha, bakit 'di mo ako ininform na susunduin mo ako?" I talked to him and rolled my eyes.

"Bakit ba? Papayag ka din naman eh. Tatanggihan mo pa ba tong gwapong to?"

"Tapisin kita eh. Magagalit si Piolo sa'yo." HAHA. Yes, everyone who knows me well accepted the 'assuming' side of Alyssa Valdez.

"Whatever. Haha so, why won't you take a nap muna? You said you're tired."

"Yeah, that's what I am going to do na eh. Wag ka maingay, matutulog na ako."

So I closed my eyes, and listened to the song that's playing in my earphones.

Sorry guys! Wala masyadong KiefLy moments sa chapter na ito. I think kasi I have to start writing a chapter including Ysay na, so here it is. Haha
