CHAPTER EIGHT

"I'm not saying don't date the guy. I'm just saying take it slow" we were out the front of school and once again we were talking about elena.
"You were the one who said to go for it" she said to bonnie
"Now I'm saying take it slow"
"Why the about-face?"
"It's not an about-face. You're single for the first time in your entire high school career. It's the perfect time to play the field"
"Oh, because I'm so that girl. Seriously, what are you not saying?"
"It's stupid" bonnie says not wanting to tell elena what's up.
"Bonnie..."
"What?"
"Spit it out"
"I accidentally touched Stefan. And I got a really bad feeling" I wonder what I know there's something odd about him and his brother but I just can't figure it out.
"Is that it? Bonnie" elena asked.
" It was bad bad!"
"Is this the whole witch mojo thing again?"
"You know what? I'm just concerned. This is me expressing concern about my best friend's new boyfriend"
"And I love you for it, I do. But I feel good. It's been a hard year, and I'm starting to kind of feel like things are getting back to normal again. And you know what? Stefan is a big part of that"
I see stefan walking over to our group, bonnie doesn't look at him and just stares at the ground her vision must have been really bad.

"Good morning, Elena. Good morning, Iskra and Good morning, Bonnie" he said to the each of us.
"Hey, um, I gotta find Caroline. She's not answering her phone. So I'll see you guys later" bonnie bids us farewell.
I notice matt and Tyler throwing the football from across the field so I decide to go talk to the both of them.
"Guys I'm gonna go I'll talk to you later" I walk over to them and surprise surprise there talking about elena, I mean who isn't.
"Look...there's Elena and her new boyfriend. Now, what are they doing? Oh, they're walking, walking, walking. Yep. Right into the sunset" Ty says to make matt upset.
"You're a dick" I nudge him.
"While you just stand there looking like one of those little yard trolls" he says to matt ignoring my comment.
"Gnomes" I correct him.
"Hey, what am I supposed to do, Ty? She made her choice" matt says
"Let her know she made the wrong one"
Tyler catches the ball and then smiles this cannot be good.

"What are you doing? Ty, don't. Ty, don't! Ty!" I say.

Tyler throws the ball at Stefan, who has his back towards him. He quickly turns around, catches the ball, and throws it back to Tyler who barely catches the ball. Tyler and Matt are shocked. Elena and I both laugh.

"Cmon Ty what was that for" I say to him.

"He's just been bugging me since he got here" I shake my head at him.

"I'll text you later okay" I say giving them both hugs.

I was walking with stefan and elena to mr tanners class.

"That throw was insane. I didn't know you played football" I said to stefan.
" I used to. It was a long time ago"
"So why don't you try out for the team?" Elena asked him.
"Yeah, I don't think so" he laughed.
"So you don't like football?" I asked curiously.
"No, I love football. I think it's a great sport. But in this case, I don't think football likes me. You saw Tyler over there, and we both know how Matt feels" he does have a point.
"They don't know you. To them, you're mysterious loner guy. Wouldn't hurt to be part of. Make some friends" elena tells him.
"Says the girl who spends her alone time writing in a cemetery" I laugh.
"Hey, come on. There's more to me than just gloomy graveyard girl. There's a whole other Elena that you have yet to meet. She was into everything, very busy"
"Well, I look forward to meeting her. And when will that be?"
"Soon. She's working on it"
"Okay you guys are gonna make me barf" I say and they both start laughing.
"World war II ended in...Anyone got anything? Miss Juan? 1945" mr tanner asked the class.

"Psst. FYI...Our team sucks. They could use you" elena told stefan.
"Can't"
"Pearl Harbor" mr tanner again asked the class.
"I'm a loner" stefan replied
"Miss Gilbert?" This mr tanner asked elena.
" Hmm?" Showing she hadn't paid any attention.
"Pearl Harbor?"
"Um..."
"December 7, 1941" stefan to the rescue.
"Thank you, Miss Gilbert" the whole class laughed.
"Anytime" he smiled.
"Very well. The fall of the Berlin Wall" mr tanner asked stefan.
"1989. I'm good with dates, sir" he replied.
"Are you? How good? Keep it to the year. Civil Rights Act"

"Uh, actually, sir, it was '53" stefan told him.
"Look it up, somebody. Quickly" I quickly opened my history book trying to find the right page.
" It was 19...53" I told the class.

The cheerleaders were out on the field warming up for Practice I seen bonnie and elena so I walked over to them.

"Oh, my God! You're here!" Bonnie hugged me.
"Yep. I can't be sad girl forever. The only way to get things back to the way they were are to do things that were" I told the both of them.

"You, Iskra, me and Stefan. Dinner tonight" elena told bonnie, ever since her vision she's been avoiding stefan like the plague.
"Tonight's no good. Have you seen Caroline? I texted her like a hundred times"she replied.
"Don't change the subject, Bonnie Bennett! You're going to be there" I laughed at the both of them.
" Fine. I'll go"
"Good"
"Seriously, where is Caroline?" I asked.
"I don't know. It's not like her" elena told me.
"I'll try her again" said bonnie
Before bonnie even had the chance to pick up the voice the rumbling of an engine pulled up with Caroline and Damon I was shocked to see her with him, before she got out of the car she kissed Damon on the lips and smiled at him.

"Uh..." I murmured
"Oh, my God. That must be the mystery guy from the grill" bonnie said.
"That's not a mystery guy. That's Damon Salvatore" I told her.
"Salvatore, as in Stefan?!" I nodded.
" I got the other brother Hope you don't mind" she said to elena smirking. "Sorry I'm late, girls. I, uh, was busy. All right, let's start with the double pike herkey hurdler, what do you say?" She asked everyone. "And 5, 6, 7, 8. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. Iskra, sweetie, why don't you just observe today? Ok? Keep going! Ok. Do it again from the top. And 5, 6, 7, 8. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8"
I really really hate Caroline she's so mean I just glare at her and head to the football field to find Tyler walking over there I notice tanner giving him a hard time.

"Hey Ty what's up" I asked him.

"You know usually coach is extra harsh today but" he told me.

"Wanna skip and go hang by the back of the school" I smile and he nods I grab his hand and we start walking to the back of the school together, after finally getting there Ty goes to say something but I cut him off but putting my lips to his.

He kisses me back and it become heated almost instantly, he places his hand under the crease of my bum indicating me to jump and I do wrapping my legs around his waste.

I pull away for a couple of seconds catching my breath before placing my lips back on his a couple of minutes later I pull away, Ty still holding me against the wall.

"We need to stop before we get caught" I laugh.

"I don't mind" Ty tells me.

"Well I Do and I prefer a bed over the dirty ground anyway" he laughs at my comment, I kiss him again but we are interrupted my someone coughing I turn to look at elena and instantly let go of Tyler.

"Iskra can I have a word please"I nod and say good by to Tyler.

"What do you think your doing" she asks me.

"What did it look like"

"Like a trashy girl making out with a player" she says while look at me with disgust.

"You have no right to judge me your my sister not my mum" I yell at her.

"Dont bother coming back tonight" she tells me angrily I was shocked she can't be serious.
