CHAPTER TWO

When I reach the grill I sit down at a table with Matt, bonnie, Tyler and Caroline.

"Hey guys" I say.

"Issy it's been for ages" Matt gives me a hug.

"Yes it has I've missed you" I smile.

"So how's elena doing" he asks me.

"Our mom and dad died Matt, how do you think she's doing? She's putting on a good face for you guys, but it's only been four months"

"Has she said anything about me" I love Matt but he doesn't know when to quit.

"Oh no, we are so not getting in the middle of this, you pick up the phone and call her" bonnie tells him.

"I feel weird calling her she broke up with me"

"give her time" I tell him.

"More time huh" he says sadly I look in the direction he's looking and notice Stefan and elena walking into the grill together she must have invited him.

We've been talking about random stuff for most of the night when Caroline decides she finally wants to ask Stefan so questions.

"So you were born in mystic falls?"

"Hmm, and moved when I was still young" he replied.

"Any parents or siblings"

"Caroline leave him alone" I warn her she just glares at me.

"No its fine, my parents passed away and no siblings that I talk to it's just me and my uncle"

Caroline looks like she regrets asking and mutters a sorry.

"So Stefan because your new you wouldn't happen to know about the party tomorrow night" she recovers and asks him.

He looks confused so bonnie fills him in on the details Caroline missed "it's a back to school thing at the falls" he looks to elena.

"Are you going" he asks, of course he notices elena I mean she is the better sister, the prettier one she's obviously more interesting than me she gets all the guys.

"Of course she is" I muttered.

"The Battle of Willow Creek took place right at the end of the war in our very own Mystic Falls. How many casualties resulted in this battle? Ms. Bennett?" It's a new day and it was ruined when I found out I had professor dick face again, could my day get any worse.
"Um...a lot? I'm not sure. Like a whole lot" she shrugged.
"Cute becomes dumb in an instant, Ms. Bennett. Mr. Donovan? Would you like to take this opportunity to overcome your embedded jock stereotype?" Asshole.
"It's okay, Mr. Tanner, I'm cool with it"
"Hmm. Elena? Surely you can enlighten us about one of the town's most significantly historical events?" He asked.
"I'm sorry, I--I don't know" she replied.
"I was willing to be lenient last year for obvious reasons, Elena. But the personal excuses ended with summer break" I hate this guys so much he doesn't even realise what we've been through pick on some one else.
"There were 346 casualties. Unless you're counting local civilians" Stefan spoke up helping elena.
"That's correct. Mister...?"
"Salvatore"
"Salvatore. Any relation to the original settlers here at Mystic Falls?"
"Distant"
"Well, very good. Except, of course, there were no civilian casualties in this battle" he tried to out do Stefan
"Actually, there were 27, sir. Confederate soldiers, they fired on the church, believing it to be housing weapons. They were wrong. It was a night of great loss. The founder's archives are, uh, stored in civil hall if you'd like to brush up on your facts, Mr. Tanner" OMG you go Stefan
"Hmm" mr tanner grumbled.

The moment I've been waiting for to get drunk on my sorrow with out people asking me what's wrong, i walk over to elena and bonnie with a drink in my hand I've already started feeling a little tipsy.
"Oh, okay, so he's a little pretty" elena tells bonnie.
"He has that romance novel stare" I laughed at Bonnies comment.
"So where is he?" I asked her.
"I don't know. Bonnie You tell me, you're the psychic one" she says.
"Right, I forgot. Okay, so give me a sec. Grams says I have to concentrate" I laugh at how ridiculous my friends are.
"Wait, you need a crystal ball" I whisper yell so people didn't know what we were doing.
I look down at the bottle in my hand and pass it to her but our hands lightly touch bonnie spaces out for a second before flinching away from my touch.

"What?" I asked curious as to what she seen.
"That was weird. When I touched you, I saw a crow"
"What?" I asked shocked
"A crow. There was fog, a man. I'm drunk. It's the drinking. There's nothing psychic about it. Yeah? Ok, I'm gonna get a refill" Bonnie walks off j to the direction of the beverage stand when I turn back I notice Stevan had finally got here.
"Hi" he said.
"Hi" she replied.
"I did it again, didn't it?"
"Yeah" I just watched them.
"I'm sorry. You're upset about something"
"Oh, uh, no, it's- it's just Bonnie. She's...You know what? Never mind. You're...here"
"I'm here"
"Okay I'm gonna leave you two love birds, have a great time use protection" I yelled as I walked away.
I'm starting to feel a little tipsy I giggled to my self all off a sudden I found myself on the floor so I giggled even louder.
"Are you okay Issy I didn't see you there" Tyler asked while helping me up.
"Shhh" I put my finger to his lips "I'm more than okay" I grabbed the back of his neck and Brought his lips too me he grabbed the back of my legs and lifted me up so I could wrap my legs around his waste by now we were deeper into the woods so no one could find us.
I started to pull Tyler's shirt of and he was doing the same to me when I heard a branch snap a few metres away from us I pulled away.
"Did you hear that Ty"
"It was probably just an animal we are in the woods after all" I agreed and we went back to undressing each other I have to admit this is a little low standard for me but come one I have my needs.
"What are you guys doing so far out you never know what's gonna get ya" I pulled away and looked up to the most gorgeous man if ever seen I tried to cover my half naked body.
"Who are you" Ty asked.
"No one you need to know about me yet" he told us.
"Then why are you here, you can see were busy" I reply angrily.
"Ooh feisty I like you" he tells me and I scoff who does he think he is.
"You two will forget you met me here tonight until I want you to remember" and then we were left by our selves.
"What just happened" I asked Tyler confused.
"Idk but I know what we were doing" he went to kiss my neck but I stopped him.
"I'm not in the mood anymore maybe another time" I grabbed my clothes and started putting them on, grabbing another drink and stumbling back to the party I tripped over something and landed face first Into a body.
I screamed so loud that people came almost instantly.
"Omg vicky someone help call 911, vicky, vicky wake up" I screamed I noticed Matt running over before he could see I ran to him and hugged him I didn't want him to see her not like this.
"Vicky" he screamed and pushed me out of the way I looked over to elena to make sure she was okay but I couldn't fine her but I found Stefan fleeing as quick as he could there's something up with him it's like he feels guilty about this, I noticed Matt seen him leave too because he was glaring in his direction.

STEFAN
As soon as I left the bomb fire I ran straight home.
"What's going on?" Zach asked me as I was half way up the stairs.
"Someone else was attacked tonight, Zach, and it wasn't me" I told him concerned, when I reached my room u noticed a crow was on my balcony.
"Damon" a man stepped into my view from the shadows.
"Hello, brother"
"Crow's a bit much, don't you think?" I criticised.
"Wait till you see what I can do with the fog" he boasted.
"When'd you get here?"
"Well, I couldn't miss your first day at school. Your hair's different. I like it" he complimented although I knew he didn't mean it.
"It's been 15 years, Damon"
"Thank God. I couldn't take another day of the nineties. That horrible grunge look? Did not suit you. Remember, Stefan, it's important to stay away from fads"
"Why are you here?" I asked him.
"I miss my little brother"
"You hate small towns. It's boring. There's nothing for you to do"
"I've managed to keep myself busy" he smirked.
"You know, you left that girl alive tonight. That's very clumsy of you"
"Ah. That can be a problem...for you"
"Why are you here now?"
"I could ask you the same question. However, I'm fairly certain your answer can be summed up all into two little words... Elena and Iskra"
