"Hurry Mary-Ann! your dad is here! get in your room fast!" Mary-Ann's mom, Maria, told her daughter as she stepped inside her home. Mary-Ann didn't want to get hurt again, she didn't want to cry anymore. She felt her body filled with ecstasy, and she wasn't going to let her dad ruin it.

"OK, thanks mom goodnight!" Mary-Ann said as she hurried to her room. She felt the doorknob at her fingertips, when her dad pulled her her.

"Why are you home so late?!, it's almost eleven at night and you out there fucking having fun! do you think i have fun?! i have to go work my ass off so you can come home at this time!?!" Her dad said to Mary-Ann as she struggled to get her hair away from his hands. She just couldn't do it.

"Dad let me go!" Mary-Ann said as she pulled her hair from his hands. Mary-Ann's dad grabbed let go of her, only to push her from the stairs. She felt every inch of her body sting at the last step of the stairs. Her dad grabbed a pair of scissors , and cut off some her hair.

"That's what you get you fucking cow!" Her father said as he threw the scissors, and grabbed his beer bottle. Mary-Ann knew this wasn't the first time this has happened to her, but at the end, it felt like the first time for her. She still remembers it till this day.

Mary-Ann picked herself up, and ran to her room. Mary-Ann wanted to die. It was the only thought that came to her mind. She wanted to end her life there. She sobbed so much everyday, she could make wilted flowers grow strong and healthy again. Then she thought of Josh. She thought of him holding her in his arms, safe and sound. She would leave her house and live with him> At this point she would go with anyone, she just didn't want to be with her father anymore. She couldn't understand why her mother was still with him. if it was up to Mary-Ann, she would've left a long time ago.

Mary-Ann went to her bathroom, and grabbed the special case she had hidden in the back of the toilet. She pulled out a razor. Mary-Ann knew it was the only thing that was going to help her make the pain go away. She felt it press against her skin, and she pushed it in further. Mary-Ann felt the pain go away as her blood made itself a pool on the floor. Mary-Ann made 4 lines each in both of her arms. She didn't want to do it, but she needed to. It wasn't that she wanted it. It was that she needed it.
