Alec's POV
After Skylar dropped me at home, I called the boys over.
"Sooo, how was the date?" Ryder asks me with a smirk as soon as I open the door. "Did anything fun happen?" He gives me a suggestive wink, but I just roll my eyes.
"You know I'm not getting attached to Sky. She's only my fake girlfriend and I told her a fake sob story, so I'm definately not having any fun with her. I'd feel too bad for using her for a dumb deal."
"Why do you feel bad for using her? You've used so many girls before so what's the difference now?" Colton shot at me.
"The difference is the other girls know what they're getting into when they sleep with me, Skylar thinks I'm being genuine with her, that I'm finally opening up to a girl. I couldn't put her through that."
"Are you sure that's the only reason you don't want to use her?" Ryder asked me with a smirk. "You sure it's not because she's hot?"
I roll my eyes at him and turn the tv in my room on although I can't really focus on what's playing and I wouldn't even be able to tell anyone what I was watching. I was too busy thinking of Skylar.
Why did I feel bad about using her? I'm just "dating" her for the deal I made with the boys. But the story about Beth wasn't part of the deal so why did I tell her it?
Although it wasn't completely true, there were elements of truth in it that no one except my friends and close family knew about so why had I chosen to tell Sky, a girl I barely knew and was fake dating, those details?
Maybe Ryder was right. Maybe it's just because she's hot. With her hair that's so dark it's practically black and her greenish brown eyes and her bangable body, any guy would be dumb not to think she was hot, but it was something more than that I was sure.
I sigh and go back to watching what I realize is one of the older James Bonds. Theo is obsessed and makes sure we watch all the movies as often as possible.

Just a short filler chapter because I finished 10th grade today!! Woohoo! I'm halfway done with high school! And I'll be more active hopefully because I won't have any homework or tests.
