Sorry it took me a long time to update. I was part of a competition so I've been studying the whole year but it ended this week. I'm done with school in about a month and then my updates should become more regular.
Hope you enjoy this chapter!

On Saturday I woke up early and went down to Lily's kitchen to grab a quick breakfast.

I was excited to get my day with Alec started. I called him with the number that he conveniently put in my phone and he picked up after two rings.

"Hello?" Alec sounded groggy like he had just woken up.

"Hey Alec, it's Skylar. I just wanted to tell you that I'm taking today as the day that I choose what you do and that I'll be over in 20 minutes."

"That's fine, but why the fuck did you have to wake me up so damn early on the weekend?"

I looked at the clock in the Park's kitchen. It read 9:23 AM.

"Alec, it's almost 9:30. That's not early! Get your lazy butt out of bed because I'm going to take you out today whether or not you're dressed."
I then hung up before Alec could protest and I make another call that's crucial for today.

At 9:45 I pull up to Alec's house and I honk twice and Alec comes out of his house and into my car.

"Good morning!" I say giving Alec a once over. He's wearing a black t-shirt, a black leather jacket, and black jeans. Even his shoes are partially black! They are adidas superstars and I'm just glad I didn't wear mine today because that would have been awkward.

Alec sees me checking him out, but only smirks at me.

"So what do you have planned for today? Anything fun?"

"You'll have to see," I say as I glance at Alec while we stop at a red light. I'm not so sure if everything we do will be fun for Alec but it will for sure be fun for me.

Alec starts playing around with the radio and 7 Years by Lukas Graham comes on and we start singing, purposely very off tune.

"It was a big, big world, but we thought we were bigger
Pushing each other to the limit we were learning quicker
By eleven smoking herb and drinking burning liquor
Never rich so we were out to make that steady bigger
Once I was seven years old, my mother told me go make yourself some friends or you'll be lonely
Once I was seven years old..."

By the time the song was finished we got to our first destination: my hair salon. Today we were dying Alec's hair and I was choosing the color.

Alec still didn't notice where we were yet, but I was sure that once he did, he wouldn't be happy.

"What are we doing at a hair salon? You getting your hair cut or something?" I laughed at Alec's confusion.

"Or something," I said laughing to myself.

I walked into the salon and up to the front desk with Alec following behind me.

"I made an appointment with Simon for 10 o' clock. Is it too early?" I asked Sharon, the lady who was in charge of making appointments.

"Nope. You're just on time. Simon will be out in a minute. You can have a seat," she said with a smile.

Alec and I sat down on one of the leather couches and waited for my favorite stylist.

He quickly came out and gave me a tight hug.

"Skylar! Long time no see. Are you ready for another haircut?" Simon had silvery gray hair that was styled differently every time I saw him. Today his hair was in pompadour style that was artfully tousled.
