"Jace, open the door. You have been in there for 15 minutes." I have been banging on the door for about 10 minutes. I still have to take a shower. What is he doing in there? The door opens slowly, interrupting my thoughts. Jace stands before me. His hair is neatly combed up. A blue shirt is hugging his skin showing off his toned body. He is wearing blue jeans, like always, black converse are peaking out from under his pants.

"The bathroom is all yours." He chuckles under his breath.

"Thanks for making me late. Now will you please move?" He steps out of my way and I thank him with a smile.

----

I'm watching the cars pass us by. Since we are late there isn't as much traffic as there usually is. Considering that we are staying in the same house we decided to ride to school together, it just made more sense.

"I'm sorry about this morning. Tomorrow I will let you have the bathroom first."

"It's okay, just try not to make us late again. Don't forget your bedroom door doesn't have a lock on it." I looked at him. He is steadily watching the road. At least he doesn't drive crazy and out of control.

"I should really talk to your mother about that, I wouldn't want you watching me sleep." He laughs a little. I can feel my cheeks turn red.

----

"How was school Jace?" My mother finishes setting the table for dinner.

"It was okay. I have papers to study for my chemistry test on Thursday." Jace stands up to help my mother with the glasses.

The table was set neatly and my mom and Jace both take their seat at the table. Dinner is pretty quiet, probably due to the fact that the chicken alfredo my mom makes is the best I have ever tasted. I'm so busy enjoying this delicious dinner.

I finish before everyone else so I stand up and place my plate into the empty sink. I walk over to my mom and kiss her on the head.

"I'll be in my room if either of you need me."

As I walk to my room I can hear their voices trailing off into conversation. I leave my door cracked. I'm not sure why, I just do. I pull out my books from my bag and begin studying, after all I do have a test on Thursday. Thank you Jace for reminding me.

Before I actually decide to begin my studies I figure I should change into my pajamas.

After I take off my top, I slip on my pink shirt with hello kitty's face plastered on the front. I grab the shorts to match and slip them on.

I jump on my bed, squirming to get comfortable. I finally find the perfect position and glance down at my chemistry book. I wish there wasn't a test, chemistry is not my best subject.

There is a slight thump on the door.

"Come in." I call from my bed. I already know who it is. I'm actually happy maybe he can help me study.

He pushes the door open slowly. His eyes have a familiar gleam in them. "Your mom makes the best pasta." He chuckles under his breath. He cracks the door behind him. He sits on my bed, making the sheets and mattress jump. "Are you studying? You have until Thursday."

"I'm not good at chemistry. I can't just glance at it and know exactly what to do. You could help me if you want." I said jokingly. I don't think he understood that I wasn't being serious cause he nods his head in agreement.

"I'll help you, under one condition. You have to go out with me on Friday."
