I sat up very straight with my hands in my lap. Jace told me to sit down for a moment just before walking down the hall and disappearing. It ha been maybe five minutes.

"Boo," a whisper creeps up on me making me nearly fall of the couch Jace had decided that it would be funny to sneak up on me to scare me. "I'm sorry princess did I scare you?"

"Not even close. You are going to have to try harder next time." It was clear that I was lying and I know he could see right through me.

He chuckles. "Oh okay." He came closer to me. "Try not to jump and almost fall off the couch. So much for not being scared. Anyway, so what do you want to do? I mean like wanna play a board game or--"

I cut him off. "Let's play truth or dare." This May seem weird but I usually dominate at truth or dare. Even though I don't think you can lose, but I never back down from a dare.

"You want to play truth or dare? That doesn't seem like you, but okay. You go first."

"Okay, I dare you to go outside and scream your biggest secret. The catch is that I can't hear what you say. I have to stay inside."

Jace stood up and walked to the front door, as he reached for the knob he turned around and smiles at me. "Don't try to sneak to hear what I say. It's a secret, remember?" With that being said he went outside and closed the door behind him. I wasn't going to cheat and try to hear what he is saying, so I just sit on the couch twirling my fingers. Honestly want to know really badly but oh well it was my idea that I couldn't hear. Stupid me.

Jace entered the room slowly, then joined me on the couch. "Okay, so I dare you to draw me a dog, the catch is that you have to draw it in 15 seconds." He got up and got a piece of clean white paper from the printer along with a pencil. He sat the supplies on the coffee table.

"Thanks. Make sure and time me." I already knew this was going to be terrible. I may be a good artist but not on a time limit. I picked up the pencil and started gliding it across the paper.

"Okay. Time is up. That is better than I expected, to be honest." I don't know what he was talking a bout it looked like a deformed moose.

"Huh, I disagree but thanks I guess. I tried."

The next couple of dares were kinda a drag. Just the usual things people dare you to do.

"Okay, I saved the best for last." Jace breathed.

"Oh great. So what it is?"

"I dare you to kiss me."

Wait what? He just dated me to kiss him? That was definitely unexpected. I couldn't think of what to say. To be quite honest I didn't mind.

"How about this?" I said, reaching up and pulling him toward me.

I kisses him full on the lips as his hands slid on my shoulders and down around my waist. He was actually kissing me back.

I broke away. Jace was looking down smiling at me. My heart was racing.

"Thank you." Jace stepped closer, sending my heart fluttering.

"For the kiss? You dared me to, I had no choice." Well even if I did I probably still would have kissed him.

"Okay Chandler. How did you do on your test?"

"I did really well. I aced it! Thanks again." I breathed.

"Your welcome!" Jace murmured. He extended his hand and patted me on the head.
