Jenna's POV*
I let out a sigh as I gave up on searching for my friends. I had been in this party for about and hour and there was still not a sign of them. I went into the kitchen to get a bottled water. I wasn't one to drink much and I was not planning on doing so anytime sooner.
"Hey! I'm glad you were able to make it!"
A rush of sparks ran through me as the sound of Brett's voice reached my ears.
"Hi" I said as I stared into his beautiful brown eyes.
"Are you having fun so far?"
I nodded my head and gave him a small smile. His lips were looking a little bit extra kissable. They were so plump that I went weak at the knees just by seeing them.
"Brett man! Come join us for some beer pong!" I looked over to the tall blonde calling Brett over. He was cute, but not as cute as Brett.
"Do you want to join us?"
Should I? If I play with them I am going to have to drink and If I don't then they are going to think that I am a prude. Maybe I should tell him I need to use the bathroom. I actually need to go.
"I'm going to use the bathroom, I'll catch up to you"
He gave me a small smile before walking over to his friend. I quickly ran up the stairs and opened the first door to the right. I stood there shocked at the scene that unfolded in front of me. Brett's girlfriend was on his best friend's lap. She had her hands tangled in his hair and his lips were connected to her neck. I closed the door quietly, making sure they didn't hear me.
Brett is being cheated on. Should I tell him? I definitely should, he deserves to know the truth. No one deserves to bee cheated on. What if he doesn't believe me? It doesn't matter, I need to tell him.
I made my way to the basement where I was sure they were playing the beer pong game. I spotted Brett cheering his friend on as he watched him drink from the cup.
"Brett!" I called out.
He walked toward me with a small smile on his face. Oh man! I don't want to be the one to take his smile away. I have to do this!
"Can I talk to you?" I whispered.
His expression grew serious as he walked closer to me. He pulled me to a more secluded area. He leaned closer to me, letting me know I had his attention. The smell of alcohol swam through my nose making me scrunch it in distaste.
"This may sound a little bit crazy but..."
Oh man! This is hard. What if he thinks that I am being nosy for prying in his life? Or what if he stops talking to me?
Damn it Jenna! Grow a pair and tell him!
"I... I saw your girlfriend with your best friend in the bathroom"
"Ok..?"
He gave me a confused look. Seriously? Is he really that drunk?
"They were doing things they aren't supposed to do"
"Were they doing drugs?"
How stupid do people get when they're drunk?
"No. They were doing the deed"
He stared at me blank of emotion. His eyes slightly darkened making me gulp in fear. The fact that he was just staring at me without an ounce of emotion scared me.
"You're lying"
Is he serious right now?
"I'm not lying"
