I walked out to my car and slid in, leaving the door open as I adjusted myself.
I couldn't get the picture of Sophia out of my head. Her little smile and beautiful voice. She was so talented and she hadn't even reached the height of it yet. She would only grow stronger.
"Hello, Sel." A voice said. I turned directly to face him.
"Why are you here, Lukas?" I asked, bitterness seeping into my voice.
"I wanted to see my girl once I got out of jail. I had to. I miss you, Sel."
"I don't miss you, Lukas." I snapped.
He put a hand on his chest as if I hurt his feelings.
"I'm hurt, Selena. You should no better than to give me and attitude by now." A familiar look crossed his face. Every Time he got that look, I knew something bad was about to happen to me.
"Who are you?" A male voice said.
Justin.
"I'm Selena's lover." Lukas responded. "Who are you?"
"Justin." My boyfriend responded. "But you can call me left and right."
Justin had hit Lukas before I even had a chance to blink or stop him.
"NO!" I yelled climbing out of my drivers seat. I didn't know Justin was here.
Even though I hated Lukas, I didn't want him hurt. His heroin did that plenty enough to him. I didn't have too.
"I'm done, babe. I'm done." Justin said, climbing into the passenger seat of my car. I shot him a look and got down beside Lukas.
"You better hope he doesn't file charges." I told Justin. Justin smiled and shrugged.
"He was hurting you, babe."
I smiled but inside I was angry with him.
He can't just hit people.
That's when something clamped down on my arm and wouldn't let go.
