Untouchable by Taylor Swift

"This love has taken its toll on me,
She said goodbye,
Too many times before... "
Gently rolling my eos lip balm around on my desk, I quietly sang the song that had been stuck in my head for a few hours now.
It has been about 15 minutes since Justin had left and I was bored out of my mind. It was still pouring outside and the sky turned a dark grey.
I tapped my fingers on the wooden desk and rested my chin in my other hand as I contemplated on whether I should go downstairs or not. Neither of my parents were home, since they both worked, and my little brother- Dylan -was at his friend's house, like usual.
Pushing myself up, off the chair, I dragged myself out of my bedroom and down the half-carpeted stairs. There wasn't really anything I wanted to do, though. I could watch a movie but I would end up falling asleep or getting bored of it quickly.
Going online was an option, but I prefer not to be involved that much in social media sites. You could say I'm more of an outdoors person, when it's not raining cats and dogs outside.
I had been walking from the living room to the kitchen over and over again, trying to find something entertaining to pass my time before my family got home. But I just couldn't find anything that amused me enough.
As I was pacing, the doorbell had rung, causing me to turn my attention towards the door.
Who would be here?
My parents usually got home at around 6:30 and they would pick Dylan up on the way home.
So it must be a friend.
Skipping over to the door, I turned the lock and pulled the door open. There stood Ryan. His hands were stuffed in his pockets and his hoodie was stained by a few water droplets.
"Hey, what's up?" I beamed, opening the door wider for him to come in.
"Hey. Sorry if I'm bothering you or anything, I just need to get away from my parents." He slid his hood off his head, revealing his dirty blonde hair.
"It's fine, I know how it feels." I said, closing the door as Ryan took his shoes off, not wanting to get the white carpet dirty.
I followed him to the couch and we both sat before he spoke again.
"Is Justin here?"
I wish.
"No, Scooter needed him." I answered, picking up the tv remote and pressing the power button.
"I thought he was done recording." Ryan stated, kicking his feet up on the coffee table.
I didn't know how to respond, so I just nodded slowly, though he probably couldn't see me since he was focused on the tv.

After Ryan had calmed himself down enough to finally face his parents, he bid a quick farewell before disappearing into the dark night. The rain had finally stopped but the climate still felt wet and cold. There were many puddles on the sidewalks and the lawn was in deed slightly muddy.
