When I woke up, I knew it was going to be one of those days.
The clock on my nightstand marked 3:40 am and I knew there was no way in hell I could've gone back to sleep judging by the irritation I was suddenly feeling. I rolled around in my bed, contemplating the idea of knocking on Lucia's door, waking her up so she'd keep me company. But then again, Lucia was the type of person that liked to talk about things. And although I liked her company, the last thing I wanted was to talk.
So I got dressed, grabbed my gym bag and I left.

Walking through the front door, I was hit with the smell of coffee. I sniffed, looked down at my watch. It was 6:49 am. Frowning, I walked inside the kitchen, surprised to find Lucia sitting on the kitchen counter, a mug of coffee next to her. She was on her phone.
"Did you just come in?" She asked, her eyes not leaving her phone.
"I was at the gym," I replied, I took her in. She was wearing skinny jeans and a pretty V-neck shirt. "Where are you going?"
Lucia looked up from her phone and once she saw me, she almost dropped it. I looked down at myself, I was wearing baggy joggers and a sports bra.
The air around us shift to something I was more comfortable with. I really liked the way she looked at me when she wanted me. She didn't try to be discreet, didn't try to hide it and I liked that. I liked that I could see in her eyes how badly she wanted me to fuck her.
And although it had been a bad start of the day, that didn't mean it couldn't be fixed.
I quickly placed myself between her legs, my hands on her thighs. "Lucia?" She hummed as a reply, her eyes focused on my lips. "We never finished our conversation yesterday."
Lucia nodded slowly, her hands quickly made their way to my neck as she brought me closer to her and our lips met instantly. I could be wrong, but I think that was the first time she ever initiated a kiss. And for some reason, that made me want to savour it.
I moved my hands up her thighs until I could place them around her waist. I brought her closer to me and she pulled me closer to her, her lips softly moving against mine. And it felt so weird— so weird and slow and so— comforting.
It was strange.
Lucia pulled away. Her breathing was uneven, her hands softly caressing my neck, my cheek— the tenderness of the gesture gave me goosebumps.
"Oh," she said, a small frown forming between her eyebrows. Her eyes opened slowly, warm caramel staring right back at me. "Olivia it's 7 am and I've been awake for an hour, at what time did you leave?"
"Early," I told her, leaning in to place a kiss on her throat. I was tracing circles on her thighs, hoping that she'd stop talking. I didn't want to talk.
"Did you even sleep?" That frown was back in place, deeper than before and I knew then that she would not be distracted. "We went to bed late, you've barely slept, is everything okay?"
"I'm okay, I just—"
"Do you want to talk about it? Is it something that triggered you from your visit to—"
"I'm—"
"I know that some visits can be triggering—"
