chapter 8

Diana's p.o.v

The next day was just another normal day. Nobody talked about the fact we nearly kissed again and I didn't want Niall to see me.

Being at home all day is just boring. So I decided I was going to go out for a run. I closed the door and looked to put my music in but then I noticed that I forgot my phone.

"for god sake ." I opened the door again and looked up as I heard a noise.

'Hello?' I calls out Like an idiot. I walked upstairs and peaked through nialls door to see if he was in there. To think I had been living in niall's house for so long and I still had never seen his room.

I walked in slowly looking at how neatly everything was put into place. There was a few socks thrown here and there and a pair of his jeans it that was probably from where he was rushing this morning.

I walked over to his table side where I noticed a book. It had the title 'song book' and I opened it.

I ready through all the lyrics in the book and laughed at some. Some were really meaningful and thoughtful and I was smiling to myself.

"Diana!" I heard and I shut the book shut quickly and for up.

"Hey it's just me" he laughed a bit and took the closed the book out of my hand.

'Snooping?' He asked.

'No' I said and he looked at me with a raised eyebrow and was smirking.

"Yes" I said running my fingers through my hair.

"Look come here' he said getting down onto my level. I shuffled closer to himZ

'This book. It's full of great things' he laughed. 'If I ever lost this book, I probably would die. no one, non of the lads touches my book' he said to me and I looked away from him.

'I'm so sorry, I just came in here and I like saw it and I got snoopy and-'

'You aren't one of the lads. You aren't just anybody. You can look through my book' he said handing it to me.

'No I couldn't' I said and he laughed.

'You already have just take it' he smiled.

I looked at him and i never realised how cute niall actually looks and how baby faced he was. he was just so cute.

"Daina, I think we need a new place."

"why?" I asked a bit shocked that this conversations was even happening.

"Diana I think we need a new place..." he repeated himself.

"why?" i simply asked again.

" it's not safe here" he said

"Oh come on Niall' I laughed and he looked at me seriously.

'Would you like to go on a date with me?' He asked me and I looked up at him.

'Who me ' I asked surprised and he smiled at me widely.

'Yeah, you'

'Erm,well I don't know' I said teasing him and he frowned at my words.

'Be ready by 6. We are going out tonight just us two' he said and I smiled at him and nodded.

A couple of hours had passed and I was looking through my wardrobe what I should wear. I ended up picking a play suit with some heels and I had curled my hair and done my makeup.

For the first time in 6 months I had started looking normal again. Everything seemed good, everything seemed so happy.

'Diana, are you ready?' I heard shouting from downstairs and I looked at myself one more time in the mirror.

'You can do this' I said to myself as I started to feel myself getting nervous.

'Come on this is Niall' I said holding my breath and looking at myself.

I got up out of my seat and picked up my bag turning the lights off. I walked down the stairs slowly and looked at Niall.

'I'm ready' I said and he smiled at me and looked at me as I walked down.

'I erm- I got these for you' he said handing me some flowers and I smiled placing them down.

'Thanks' I smiled and he smiled back. 'Should we go?' I asked and he nodded holding me hand and escorting me to my side of the car.

'Where are we going then?' I asked him and he looked at me.

'That's my surprise' he smiled and I didn't push up on it anymore. We drove for about 20 minutes talking and laughing. Niall finally pulled up Infront of this house and I looked around.

'Where are we?' I asked him and he didn't say anything. He turned the engine off and opened my side of the door and waited for me to get out.

'Come on' he held out his hand and I took it nervously.

He led me into the house and I walked in before him as he walked in after me.

'Welcome home' I heard behind me and I turned around and looked at him.

'Niall' I said and he stopped me from talking and walked up to me.

'Look, this has been hard. If this was anyone else I probably would have left like I don't know, when it first happened I don't know. But it's you. For god sake Diana is you! It's always been you. I can't stop thinking about you. Every minute of the day I just want to be with you, to talk to you. To play with you.' He was saying and I was looking at him smiling.

'I would never dream of doing anything to hurt you. I want to always love with you from now, to the rest of my life. Cheating on you,no! I could never do that. I love you so much. More than I have ever loved anything. So that's why I want to ask you.' He said and I looked at him not knowing what he wanted to say.

'Will you be my girlfriend?' He asked and I looked at him.

'Yes' I nodded and I smiled walking up to him and hugging him tightly.

'Well thank god' he laughed holding me tightly and kissing the top of my head.
