So, it seems to be kind of even on the stalker scale. A few of you guys think it's Josh. A few of you think it's Ethan, and then 2 people actually said Ethan's dad!!! Haha, I love seeing all of your guy's guesses. It's interesting to see what you guys get out of my writing. LOL. I'm trying my hardest to make it unpredictable.... So far I think it's working!! Keep me updated with who you think the Stalker is.... You never know, something I write might just change your mind (:

8. Lingerie and a Big Tip

Confession #8: I've been picky since birth.

"Nelly, we should really get going," Matt says for the twentieth time. The little girl looks at him, and then giggles.

He sighs. "How much did all of that cost me?" He asks, a weary expression crossing his face.

I'd been trying my best to ignore him, but he WAS a customer. "Um, don't worry about it. It was on the house."

"Really?" He asks, a big, wide, chessy looking smile spreading across his face. I knew it wasn't just because he got free pie.

"Why are you smiling like that?" I ask him nervously, my cheeks warming with blush. My hand moved to play with the hem of my shirt, though I was completely oblivious.

"You're talking to me again," he smiles. "And, if I'm not mistaken, telling someone 'It's on the house,' is definitely considered flirting."

"I wasn't flirting," I tell him, my voice raising up a few octaves. "I don't do that in front of children." He chuckles, and watches me walk away.

A few minutes later they left. When I went to clean up their table, there was a fifty dollar bill placed on top of a napkin that said: 'Keep the change.'

I sighed, and tried to smile at his kindness. But I couldn't. I was still afraid that it was him. The only reason I even acted civil towards him was because his little sister had been there.

After work, I slowly drove home, deep in thought.

Maybe I had gone too far with this whole stalker thing. Maybe it was all a joke that some kids at school had decided to play on me. But everytime I thought that, another question popped up into my head. What if it wasn't a joke?

I had no idea who would pull a prank like that. Not even Tyler McCowsky, the biggest jerk of the school. Or Tiffany and Ashley, the two top bitches. But how could I know that? And how had they gotten my pictures?

To distract myself, I decided I needed some music. I turned the radio onto my favorite station, and one of my favorite songs just happened to be playing. Never Too Late, By 3 Days Grace blasted through my car's speakers.

After the song, I was just about home. Only a few blocks away. Another song had started to play, but I turned the radio down, now aware that I was in a Sleeping Neighborhood.

When I walked inside, the lights were off. But I expected that. My Mom, Dad, and Parker were spending Christmas in Hawaii. I had refused to go with them, when they'd asked me to go. I said that I'd spend Christmas with my Real Family. Josh, Demi, and the rest of my friends. I felt bad for Parker, but he knew that he wasn't the reason I didn't want to go.

They said they'd be gone for almost a whole month. But that was fine with me! A month without parents was like an Ice Cream Sundae with Nuts. (Me: Hahaha... Random!)

My stomach suddenly growled, making me look down in amusement. "Why must you always cry, tummy?" I asked, pinching the front sides of my stomach.

Tonight, I felt like having something good to eat. Lasagna, maybe?

I grabbed out some noodles from the cupboard, cheese, and red sauce and then poured it all together, making a mess on the counter. I just laughed it off. Cooking should be fun, not work!

If my mom were here, she would have scolded me, and then made me add in onions and tomatoes and all that crap. But, since I was alone, I decided to make it my way. I never really liked onions or tomatoes anyways. Then again, I've always been pretty picky.

After putting the lasagna in the oven, I ran upstairs to my room, to change into my pajamas. I usually just wore a pair of sweatpants and I tanktop, but for some reason I was in a really good mood. I felt like I deserved to wear something better.

I searched through my drawers, looking for the silk pajamas my mom had bought me a few years back. I had stopped growing in the 8th grade, so hopefully they would still fit me.

I found them in the very back, buried under jeans and more jeans. After slipping them on, I turned to my bed, about to run and jump on it. And then I saw it.

A single wrapped package lay on the exact middle of my bed. It was wrapped in red and white Christmas paper, and had a gold bow. I picked it up and searched for a name, but couldn't find anything.

It didn't feel too heavy. I gently unwrapped it, careful not to break the expensive looking bow. What was inside made me want to spill my insides out.

The black lingerie set from Victoria's Secret that I'd been looking at earlier today. Without thinking, I threw the box against the wall. It seemed to fall in slow motion, but I know it really didn't. A small piece of paper fell out of the box when it landed on the floor.

For some reason, I was scared of the measly little scrap of paper. What if it was a trap? I sucked it up, and moved towards it, eventually squatting down and picking it up. Three little words were written. 'Happy New Years.'

Yeah, and a Merry Fucking Christmas to you, too.

Haha. I never cuss! LOL. I thought it would be a funny ending to this chapter (: Uh oh spaghetti oh's! Somebody was watching her at the mall! OMGEE! Who could it have been? Give me your best guess! I bet nobody will guess it right!!

P.S- Ha, I just had a really weird thought. What if Matt, Josh and Ethan had teamed together and they were all stalking her?? HAHA! That would be weird.... And NO! That's not the right answer (: I wouldn't give it away like that.
