The fight has been long. I am weary, and yet exhilarated. I have seen Cairn’s dream come to fruition, and I feel greatly honoured and intensely humbled to have been able to take the torch from such a Secti. Yet I hope the next generation of Subsect will not be hindered by such platitudes, for they go against the very nature of our movement... I hope and trust that my children will be empowered by their own volition.

With the passing this month of the Charter of Freewill, my people have taken the first step on the road to freedom.

It may be a small step, but it will soon inspire flight.

And now the day has come, and if there is a God, and Cairn’s soul awaits my death so that he may achieve unity, then I must have the burning. By the end, Cairn was no longer my master. He was a friend, and a friend for which I would give my life.

When I finish this writing, my purpose here will be complete.

My service to Cairn began in the shackles of repression, but it will end in the chains of loyalty. He may have considered me a cornerstone for the foundation of his new faith. If so, then together we are a fortress. We constructed a bastion of such magnitude that even death can not shake it. I have never before felt such faith in existence, in life, as I now do. Let me rise with this emotion – let it carry me to my friend, and together we will take the final journey.
