"We should probably get going before the cops show up" said Brendon. A fight had broke out after fall out boy made their opening act. "Yeah. Let's go" said Pete pulling me out of the school. I reached up to my nose to check for blood. I was good. We all caught our breath outside. "Home?" I asked. They all nodded. We made our way down the street to my house. Pete and I trailed behind. He held onto my hand. "Did you have fun?" He asked. "Yeah." I said. He pulled a cigarette out of Gerard's back pocket. He lit it up and took a few puffs from it. "Do you like smoking cigarettes?" I asked. "I know I'll regret it one day" he said. "You don't smoke all the time, so it mustn't that bad" I said. "It's hard to explain. All I know is that I never want you smoking cigarettes. I don't care if you're smoking weed, I just don't want you to be hooked on these cancer sticks." He said. "I don't want you smoking them either" I said. This caught him off guard. "You want me to quit?" He asked. "I know quitting would be hard, but it would mean a lot to me." I said. He threw the cigarette to the ground. "Then I'll quit. But you'll have to deal with me" he said. "Ok. Thank you." I said giving him a kiss on his cheek. I could see the boys up ahead smoking. Some cigarettes, others were smoking joints. "Hey, when we get to the house, my mom asked not to smoke inside" I said. Gerard turned around, cigarette in his mouth. "How does your mom know we smoke?" He asked. "No comment?" I said. "No seriously. How does she know. My parents are the only ones who know we smoke" he said. "I told her? I didn't tell her that most of you keep packs of cigarettes on you all the time, I just told her I had smoked some weed at a party." I said. "Your parents don't give a shit. Do they?" He asked. "They do. They just aren't total hard asses and understand that I'm gonna try things in high school" I said. We were walking up to the house. I ran up the stairs and unlocked the door. "I don't know where everyone's gonna sleep. There's 11 of us all together." I said. "Who said anything about sleeping? Let's have some fun" said Mikey. "We could have a campfire" I said. "Can we all get in our pjs first? I doubt our parents want us around a campfire in suits." Said Brendon. "Yeah. You know where the bathrooms are" I said. "I didn't bring any extra clothes" said Pete tugging on my sleeve. "You could borrow some of mine" I said. We went upstairs into my room. It felt nice to finally get the suit off. I slipped on a tee-shirt and some sweat pants. It other words, comfy clothes. I handed the same thing to Pete. We made our way down stairs and saw everyone (all nine of them) on the two couches we had in our living room. "So who's sleeping where?" Asked Mikey. "Well, there's my room, which will be Pete and I. Ryan and Brendon could take the spare room. Andy and Joe could take the hide-a-bed in the office. Mikey and Ray could take my parents room. There's an inflatable mattress in the garage, Gerard and Frank could take that. And I guess that leaves the couch to Spencer." I said.We were all sitting around the fire telling embarrassing childhood stories. "All twelve pies. Every one. I was so sick. I was throwing up for two weeks. I ended up in the hospital. And that's how I found out that I'm allergic to blueberries" said Brendon. "I still can't believe you flew Brendon in for homecoming. You guys are the best" said Ryan. "I have another surprise for you" said Brendon. Ryan looked at him in suspense. "I bumped into my folks at the airport. I guess they were coming to visit me. And they asked me if I was still gay. Well, I told them the truth. I was never gay to begin with. So now I'm coming back at the end of the school year. I'll get to spend the summer with you guys." Said Brendon. "Bren! Oh my gosh!" Said Ryan wrapping his arms around him. Other than Ryan and Brendon, and Mikey and Ray. In public everyone seemed to be straight and single. But in private like this, everyone (excluding Spencer) was in their little relationship. Even Pete and I. Of course, when they would ask, we would deny it and they would leave us alone. But they totally knew. We spent too much time together not to. Also, he was sleeping in my room opposed to crashing on the couch like Spencer. It was starting to get colder out. I started shivering. "Petey, I'm cold" I said. Pete wrapped his arms around me. I was instantly warmer. I leaned into him. Everyone continued talking, but I lost meaning of their words.
