"I just.." I let out a deep sigh. "I can't tell you."
"Do you not trust me anymore?" She looks back up, asking.
"I.. I do it's just.. You'll be mad."
"Tell me." She says sternly.
"But-" she Interrupts. "Farkle." She stops in her tracks, turning to face me. "Tell me."
I don't look her in the eye, so afraid she won't believe me. I take a deep breath, looking down slightly. "Alice kissed me." I blurt out
Her eyebrows furrow. "What? Seriously. You're telling me she kissed you?"
She sounds angry.
"As in. On the lips. While she's with me. Farkle really?" She starts getting angry at me. "I sacrificed my time with her for you. And you mean to tell me she kissed you? When would she have done it? We've been together almost nonstop." She goes off on me.
I knew it. I knew she wouldn't believe me.
"How is it that I do so much for you but yet you try to sabotage my relationship, Farkle? I wouldn't be so angry if this hadn't happened before."
My eyes widen after hearing her say that. "Wh-what?! This has never happened before!" I argue.
"Oh really?" She starts, "my other girlfriends have told me that you flirted with them and kissed them."
Tears begin to form in my eyes. As I furrow my eyebrows.
How can you not believe your best friend?
I look down, clenching my fists, along with my teeth. As tears roll down my face.
"You.. You tell me to trust you. To believe you. But yet you can't do the same with me." I close my eyes tightly, hoping to stop the tears.
I quickly look up at her, getting in her face. "You have no idea how long I've been keeping stupid secrets like this from you because I was always so afraid you wouldn't believe me and do something like this."
I take a step back, taking a deep breath.
"Whatever."
I quickly wipe the tears away, quickly walking back home. "The way it used to be, Huh? Maybe if you didn't have so many stupid girlfriends ruining that then yeah."
"Ugh. I hate you." I let out angry steam by talking to myself.
"But.. I love you too.."
I soon arrive back home, going straight to my room. "Need a ride?" The train conductor asks. "I'm angry."

As he's explaining this, there's still a smile on his face. How can he be smiling when that happened to him.
There's a long silence between us after he's finished telling me what happened.
"So Uhh.. Yeah. That's what happened.." He finally speaks up, breaking the endless silence between us.
"How are you still smiling?" I ask. I don't understand.
He looks up at me, a wide smile plastered on his face. "Because it made me who I am.. Despite the pain.. I know she still cares about me. She was the one who told me to ask you out, after all."
My eyes widen upon hearing that. "She told you to? When did that happen?"
He just shakes his head slightly. "That doesn't matter." He soon looks up at me, leaning in, grabbing my chin, pulling me in for a gentle kiss.
"I don't need her anyway."
