Chapter 4...

It was night at the castle alas, though you could never tell the difference, for the beautiful star dined brilliantly ever more on. It was only a pinch more darker.

The six stood, just outside of the castle, as Jellal, the so called 'Leader' spoke to them. "Just so we're clear, we're to travel lightly, which means that if you're going to bring alot, be prepared to carry your own weight" he demands, more so to the other escorts than to the princesses, but you could tell by his tone that he wasn't joking.

All six carried only the needed neseceties. Natsu, only brought a pouch on his pants that carried water, and a small hand bag with just enough food for himself and another.

Gray happened to be carrying no water, but a simple bag with a spare vest and pants. He packed lightly, not even bringing any food. Jellal, on the other hand, brought two pouches of water and a single spare change of clothes.

Juvia, being so very rebellious, brought almost three whole servings of bread and food supply, a coat, and a spare pair of boots. All of her belongings kept in a bag strapped to her back.

While Lucy had a small pouch to her side consisting of healing supply and her keys, dangling from her side. Though she brought along no food, nor clothes, she didn't need to, thanks to her power.

Erza, on the other hand, seemed to have over packed, and what all seemed like armor and weapons. "Princess Erza--" jellal let out a small sigh, only to be cut off mid sentence by Erza herself.

"Just Erza is Fine" jellal continued, "I don't think you'll need all of those " she nodded, stepping aside from it. It could be possible that she would just leave the whole stack of armor for the guards to take in, but at least she wasn't bringing the whole pile.

"Yes, you're right, very well then." It was apon her actions when he noticed a small bulge in her side dress, rather pointy. Chuckling to himself , he nodded and continued to speak.

"Alright then, now that that's taken care of, shall we set out?" It seemed more so a question than a demand, but nobody seemed to object.

The six finally set out, quietly sneaking through a hidden passage way through the town. Once they made it a safe distance away from the town and it's village people, they began to slow down in their tracks.

"So Jellal, have you ever visited the Star Heart Kingdom before? I surely haven't noticed" Erza began to make small conversation with Jellal as they made their way into the dark forests.

"No, actually, this is my first time. Though I have been to the Celestial Nation once before, to attend the funeral of an old friend." He responds, duking dew to a small branch that made its way to nearly meeting his face, though maybe he should have warned the others because Gray ended up walking right into it.

"You did that on purpose didn't you, you blueberry bastard!" He yelled, his red in rage. Jellal sighed, deaply, "and just what did I do? Silence is deadly, but stupidity is even more" he replies, implying that it was Gray own fault for not paying attention.

"Screw you" he hissed, walking ahead to were he was just within earshot distance.

"Well don't you have quite he smart mouth" Erza cued, teasing just a bit. Jellal only chuckled at this, but continued to walk.

Meanwhile, a certain Pinkett was making casual talk with the princess, almost as if hey were close friends who hadn't seen each other in the longest time so they had so much to catch up on.

"So being an Escort, have you ever, other than this, escorted citizens of high status?" Asked Princess Lucy, staring longingly at his pink, or maybe even salmon, hair.

"Nope, but I've gotta say, if doing this type of thing gets me away from the old geezer, than I'd happily do it all the time" He grinned cheerily.

If you listened close enough, you could here a faint giggle come from her. "What about you? This is your first time out of the Kingdom right? I'm sure this must be pretty exciting" she nods, hiding her face from him with a fan that she held.

As their conversation continued, somewhere a little more distanced from the bunch, was Juvia, walking silently and alone. As she walked, slightly far behind everyone else, she began to count to stars. If only she could touch them, but it was silly, obviously they would burn her.

The six of them, both Escorts and Princesses, all came to a small stop as the sun began to come up. They all waited, just barely inside of a small cave, as Gray stood, on the look out while the others slept.
