Chapter 10...
Immediately the deadly sensation of falling to their dooms was replaced, now they were soaring.
This bright light, it just so happened to be the beautiful glow of these mysterious wings that seemed to be holding onto Natsu, lifting them up.
"Hey! You awake?" A younger, more child like, voice asked from close to his ear. His eyes fluttering open, he looked back to see none other than a blue cat carrying the two.
"Natsu! Wake up, okay?" He heard Lucy's desperate voice. He was still clutching onto her, and he sure as hell wasn't letting go.
"If you guys can, please try and lighten your weight, I mean you're really heavy and I don't wanna drop you!" Said the cat, still flying upwards.
With just the remainder of his strength, he oozed enough power out to be able to burst some flames out and make them go faster. "Why were you guys falling? I'm assuming it has something to do with the four men scattered on the ground up there?" The cat says, the moon light finally visable.
"It was an ambush" Lucy replied, looking over to Natsu, worried about his condition. The cat nodded, the speed increasing and it's windows giving off a brilliant light, bright, like he glow of a Celestial key, as Lucy compared it.
They soon reached the top, the sudden rush of wind engulfing them. The cat landed, dropping them a few feet above the ground, and swooping around to see if they were alright.
Lucy rushed to the side of Natsu, searching for any bad injuries. He lay there, exhausted and drained.
"Is he okay?" The cat asked, landing next to her. She looked up, questions storming her confused mind. "There's only minor injuries, but there are a lot. Anyway, thank you." The cat nods.
"What's your name?" She asks while tearing her sleeve to wrap his arm and seal the injury. "Happy"
"Happy? That's odd, but what's even more odd is a blue talking cat." She giggled slightly while tying the bandage. "I'm Lucy Heartfilia, this is Natsu."
"Aye, mind explaining to me what was going on?" Natsu remained silent, though he was still cautious. They were now standing, his weight leaning on her, helping for balance.
They started walking, flying for Happy, back to where they ran. Back to where hopefully the others were. The sky lit with tiny white flames, scattered across. The cold air hit their bare skin, making it harder to go on, but that didn't matter, they needed to continue.
