Chapter 7...
Falling down, down, down.
Into a bottomless pit, a deep hole in which it didn't seem she could escape. She seemed to be falling for ages, and calling for help, but who would be able to hear her?
She clutched her chest, her hand clinging onto the small golden key in which she still needed practice using.
How had she ended up in this situation?
"Natsu! What about Juvia and Erza?" Asked Lucy as they ran deeper into the forest. He looked back at her with a reassuring smile.
"It'll be fine Lucy, Jellal and Gray will take care of them, but we have to follow orders and flee so stick close" their fingers still intertwined, clenching on for dear life.
She nods as they enter a narrow end of the forest. At a sustain area where they could no longer see not even a glimpse of the moon, the stars light was no match for the thickening darkness that descended around them.
She felt a tug on her body, and before she knew it, he was gone and her hand was free and falling. "Lucy!" She could her a faint cry of his voice, strained and rough, but there was action.
Had she fallen through a hole in the earth? Low and unknowingly. She could hear him, struggling to hold off the unknown foes.
"Lucy!!!" Was the last thing she heard before she could no longer see the surface.
