About every demon had gathered for the occasion.

It was a beautiful ballroom with a massive and long dining table. Which had trillions of exquisite dishes from all regions of Hell. The Devil had contently sat himself at the head of the table, while demons from all around socialized among themselves. Classical music made it feel as if the walls where swaying.

He tipped his wine glass, sipping the rich goats blood from it. Gazing around, awaiting for the arrival of The Lord themself, God,and whatever angels they may bring as company. He felt a figure approach him, glancing over his back. He was greeted with the very done-up face of Juliana, a imperial demon of the body and health. Juliana was a tall, dark-skinned, woman, with a long gold-black gown. She narrowed her eyes and adjusted her silver chain necklace, "where is my daughter? I thought you said you were going to convince her to come!'' She spat, hunching over so he could hear her better over all the noise.

''Sabrina could care less',' he responded.

''Well she should! She may have to take my place one day!"

''She is only but a child, dear Jewel."

''I have told you to stop giving me nicknames! Lillith, you are insufferable!"

She stormed off, her high-heels clomping against the ground like horse-hooves. Her eyes burning with rage. Ryan slithered next to him. ''Isn't she just the worst?'' He mumbled in his usual, groggy, monotone voice. He found himself chuckling and nodding agreement. His gaze, though, was somewhere else. It hyper focused on the main entrance. The voices of demon's flooding in one ear and out another. Ryan eerily slouched next to him, watching demons socialize. A few demons had started to twirl their partners elegantly to the hypnotic rhym of the  music. You could practically taste the spite and envy Ryan felt. The Devil patted his back, muttering words of comfort. But Ryan slithered off anyway, vanishing into the shadows as he always has.

Then God arrived.

The gates slammed open, God was outfitted in a male vessel, his skin a usual dark chocolate. As usual, he was clothed handsomely. Outfitted in a white robe with a gold cross embroidered on the back. The Devil sat up instantly, rushing to greet him. God's pure gold eyes set on the Devil. His eyes narrowing before he spoke; "Devil.'' He greeted, dipping his head into a bow. The Devil returned the bow.

''God.'' He greeted.

God sat at the head of the table. His twirled up white bread gently brushed behind it. The demons quieted, huddling into seats. The Lords of Heaven and Hell stared at each other before God spoke; ''we have matters to attend to.'' Ryan gave a 'duh' gesture before another demon shot him a glare. ''Satan has refused to join the alliance," God started, ''we need to convince him to stop being so irrational and return to it immediately. I've already gathered up an army, it needed. But I fear that's not enough. So I have a favor to ask of you."

''A favor? Are you sure I can handle that?" He responded sarcastically.

''Do not be immature."

God let out a frustrated sigh before continuing, ''we need a new breed of beings to control these Shadow-seekers. A new generation of immotrals. So, naturally, I cultivated a new being that I have dubbed the name of Dimensionrunner.''

''Dimensionrunner?''

The word echoed off the walls.

''The first of this species will be able to be found on Earth, I have decided you must be the one to find them. I have narrowed down your search to a city in France version 121 called Noir City. You must locate them before the Shadowseekers are able to, or there is a possibility the weapon will be lost. I cannot go myself because I am not sure they will trust me as much as they may trust you."

"Odd."

"Indeed. They were not my first choice, clearly."

''Who are they?''

''You have to find that out for yourself.''

One of the angels murmered something to the other before fluttering his wings and soaring out. The other soon followed suit. God stood and mumbled a 'thank you.' He slowly crept after the angels as the Devil stared in bewilderment.

''Dimensionrunner?"

The word echoed off the walls again, seeming to carry a heavy meaning with them. Demons muttered and chatted again, excited at the surprising development. The music resumed casually. Everything had seemed to go back to as it was a few minutes ago. But the Devil still couldn't get the odd name out of his head. He would have to find this 'dimensionrunner', and fast. Though, he wondered what powers the being  must hold to be able to destroy a sturdy being like the Shadowseeker. He and God would handle it themselves, but there were just so many, and they had many other duties to preform. The music soon became dull to him, he found himself gazing upon the entrance, lost in thought.

Dimensionrunner, how peculiar.
