The Devil slammed his fist on the dining table. Growling at his demon advisors. They shuddered back. ''I'm going to find them myself.'' He announced, some of the demons and creatures giving him odd looks. ''But, lord, you have to stay here and continue to keep us and the humans of hell in check..''
''Well, I'm leaving Lucifer in charge than.''
Lucifer nodded, smirking and shooting a glare at a demon named Equality.
''But Equality, keep check on him.''
The female demon snickered back at him
The Devil stood from his massive chair at the end of the table, glancing around. His gaze landed on a demon named Kris. ''And Kris will be in charge of who guards the humans of hell.'' He added, waving his finger in the air. The red-head demon nodded slightly, adjusting his navy blue vest. The Devil walked away from the chair, the three chosen demons standing and following. He stopped at the Earth Portal, waving his hand for the demons to stop. ''Now, I want you all three of you to behave-'' He said like a father ''-don't cause any trouble while I'm gone, I'm looking at you, Lucifer.'' Lucifer frowned innocently and nodded. ''Equality, keep these two in check for me.'' He said, beginning to walk into the portal backwards. ''Goodbye!''
And the Devil was gone from Hell in search of them.

Kate watched the television, her eyes sparkling with interest. The News had never had anything interesting for her until now. It said that their school was closed today, because of a classroom remodeling. She was half surprised it was one day, half grateful it was at least one day. She glanced at her brother, Jake. The vampire's fangs shined in the sunlight, he grinned widely.
''So, what are we going to do?''
''Probably nothing.'' Kate responded, crossing her arms and putting them behind her head.
Jake snorted loudly, elbowing her side. ''We should do something! I'm bored!'' He spat loudly, elbowing her again. The girl kicked his foot, as if saying 'yeah no you dork.' Jake stood. ''Well I'm going to hang out with Alex.'' He growled, Kate shook her head. ''Straight-lex isn't very entertaining, so don't get excited about that.'' She wagged her finger, narrowing her eyes. Jake snorted and grabbed his coat, opening the door and walking outside. He walked towards his bike, mounting it and pedaling towards the next neighborhood. His bike swerved over on the sidewalk, getting closer to Alex's gray-white house. He skidded the bike to a stop, jumping off and barking it against the mailbox. He walked over to the door, knocking on it. ''I'm coming!'' He heard Alex's voice yell as he sprinted down the carpeted stairs.
''Hi Jake.''
''Hi Alex.''
The tall African American let him inside, Jake taking off his coat and putting it on the rusty coat hanger. ''Come on! Dialia got a new app on her phone so she'll leave us alone today.'' Alex called, motioning to his room.
Dialia was Alex's little sister, she was much shorter than the both of them. She was only in her second year of grade school. Jake ran up the stairs after Alex, taking off his sneakers as he did so. He walked inside Alex's room. It had dark gray walls, posters of demon-themed music and movies all over his walls. He had a small bed with black sheets and blankets. Red pillows. Alex had a very odd taste, it was what most called 'emo'. Jake sat down on the boys bed as he spun around in his computer-desk chair. Narrowing his eyes at Jake. ''Did you ask Ally out yet?''
''No.''
''Do it.''
''When do I though?''
''Ask Kate.''
''That is the worst idea ever.'' He muttered ''Kate usually asks out girls in the scariest ways.'' Alex shrugged and nodded. ''I guess so, I just thought because she's a girl and all.'' Jake muttered something before flicking his finger at him. ''So, why'd you come over?'' ''To ask you for advice. You've asked out like, fifteen girls.'' Alex shook his head. ''I've only asked out three and only two agreed for a date.'' He growled. The vampire shrugged briefly. ''Well, I guess if you're asking out a girl, you should really be sweet about it. Like, they seem to like sweetness and fluff.'' He went on, making his hands do a circle. Jake snorted lightly and kicked his foot. ''Not all girls like sweet and fluff.''
''Well, you're not asking Kate out are you?''
Jake let out a small laugh of amusement. Alex smiled in success. ''Well, I guess Ally is a sweet girl.'' The African American nodded know-it-all like. Jake shoved his face lightly, the boys tackled each other. ''Admit I'm a girl-master!'' Alex yelled, holding Jake down by his arm. Jake giggled and snorted. ''Never!'' Alex bent his arm more into his back. ''Ok, Ok, fine your a girl master!'' He scoffed.
Alex got off of the vampire, waving goodbye to him as he left.

The Devil glanced at his phone, seeing three texts from Equality.
'Lucifer said he wants to shove a human off the cliff'
'Kris put two messengers as guards'
'Help these guys are losers.'
The Devil snorted, returning the texts.
'Tell him to stop.'
'Tell him I'm in your contacts.'
'Yes I know they are.'
The lord of hell scoffed loudly, putting his phone back into his pocket. He stumbled into his Earth apartment, it was extremely neat. All the clothing was color-coded in a dresser. His light gray sheets matched his pale red blankets. He fluffed up the white pillows, sitting down. He glanced over at the chalkboard he had put above his bed. Nodding to himself and grabbing some red and white chalk.
'Main Objective;' He wrote in white.
'Get the Red Dimensionrunner' He wrote in red.
He drew a pair of red eyes on the side, nodding at his art. He than put the chalk back into its holder. Wiping off his hands on his pitch-black leather pants. He had to get a job somewhere, and he knew just where.
The Middle School.
