CHAPTER ELEVEN

Steel stared at his friend in horror. Jackson's eyes glowed with terror. The teacher shot up, walking over to the boy. ''Is this a trick?'' They grunted. Jackson shook his head and pointed towards the boys bathroom. The teacher followed his motion, opening the door and letting out a loud shriek.

''It's true!''

Steel stared as the teacher stumbled back in, holding the body of a boy about his age. He had dark black hair, just like the people at the movie theater. There was yellow oozing around him, and his own blood was mixing with it. It was a horrid sight. They but the student on the floor again. ''Call the nurse!'' The teacher shrieked, a girl shot up and nodded, sprinting out. Steel stared at the body, his eyes glowing with pure terror. Something poured out of the boy's mouth, a yellow-like liquid. It stained onto the tile, making the students shriek in fear. The nurse stumbled in, her eyes welling up with shock. ''What happened?!''

''I don't know, I'm not a doctor!'' Shouted Jason.

The nurse frantically picked up the student. ''I've never seen anything like this before! We need to call the government--or--''

''I don't think you'll be doing that.'' A boy spat, the student's turned to him.

''The ShadowSeeker's will kill you if they find out.''

Kate strolled in the hallways, glancing over at Brendan. Narrowing her eyes slightly. ''So, what were you up to last night?'' She asked in suspiciously. The boy glanced over at her, huffing slightly. ''I was just doing stuff with my mom, like chores. Why do you ask?'' ''Oh Steel just thought he saw you--''

''W-Wait..''

Kate suddenly stopped. Shooting a small glare at the smaller boy. ''What do you mean, wait? What are you a werewolf? Its not like I want my brother to kill you or anything.''

''What do you mean by that?''

''What is Edward?''

''Oh...''

Kate muttered something before Brendan sighed. ''So...yeah I'm basically a werewolf?''

''Is your mom one?''

''She is a hybrid..she can change whenever she wants..''

''Lucky.''

Brendan frowned, walking slowly. Kate sighed and patted his back. ''I'll try not to let Jake destroy you or anything.'' He nodded slightly, sweeping his feet along the hall. The two stopped at their third period, when suddenly an announcement was made. ''All students, school is now closed. Please wait for your buses outside.'' Kate and Brendan flinched. ''Why are they closing school?'' They looked around, student's bursting out of classrooms. They slowly followed, meeting up with Dawn. ''What the hell is happening?'' Dawn shuddered for a moment. ''There was a murder!'' He shrieked softly, wincing. ''What?! Who!?'' ''I don't know, I just heard he was in the boys bathroom.''

''Damn I hope it wasn't one of ours.'' Kate grunted hoarsely.

The three walked outside, waiting on the sidewalk for the bus. Steel, Alex and Jake appeared. Kate sighed in relief. ''You'll never guess what happened! S-''

''We know.''

''Yeah but, I was there!'' Steel screamed. ''Someone said it was a ShadowSeeker!''

''What the hell is that.''

''I have no clue!''

Jake's eyes landed on Brendan in hatred, the boy whimpered. Kate shot a glare at him, making him back off.  ''His hair was black and he was oozing yellow goo!'' Kate looked back at Steel. ''Maybe it was one of those things before.'' She shrugged, looking around suspiciously. Alex seemed to be familiar with the term. ''Their a type of demon. They said their created by Satan.'' He said, putting his finger in the air know-it-all like. Dawn glared at him for a moment. ''Yeah, ok Mr. I-Know-A lot-About-Demons-And-Have-Demon-Fanfictions.'' The boy shot her a glare for a second, than looking back at Kate. She glanced over to see Jackson running over. ''Hey guys! Did you hear?'' He asked, panting lightly. They all nodded in unison. ''Wonder who murdered Don.''

''You know him?''

''Ken stared at him in second period.''

''Oh he's that kid.''

''Right.''

Kate clicked her feet on the sidewalk, muttering something before looking up. ''Where are Harry and Ken?'' Jackson turned to her. ''Their still in there I guess. They'll probably come out soon.'' He muttered, looking over at the doors and than back at her. Alex looked nervous, glancing around anxiously. Dawn than lumbered over to Jackson. ''So where were you?'' Jackson looked up at the giant 7th grader. ''Oh, I was at Gym. That's why I'm so tired.'' He yawned. ''They held is back a little late since there were so many of us.'' The tall girl nodded, patting his blue-haired head. Brendan looked over at Steel, whispering something to him. He slightly nodded, glancing at him oddly for a second. Kate guessed he'd admitted to being a werewolf.

''So what did the shadow-creatures look like?'' Alex suddenly asked.

''Oh. They looked like---maybe like shadow-nekos. They had huge long claws and bright yellow tongues. And apparently they had a human form. I guess.'' Kate muttered, twirling her finger the draw out the beast. Alex nodded frantically. ''What were they saying.'' The girl thought for a second and repeated their words. ''Kill. Kill. Destroy. Kill Red Eyes.'' She mimicked them in a raspy voice. ''Oh dear lord..'' Alex whispered, starting to tremble. ''What is it Straight-lex.'' Kate grunted lightly, poking his head with her finger. ''What's got you in a twis-''

And then there was a loud scream of terror.

[this was short. i'm sorry. I need to wrap up this chapter early or it'd just betalking for hours.]
