Mr. Deline stared at the clock, thinking to himself.

He narrowed his yellow eyes towards the tables, glaring at Kate Heronwing's seat. He stood up and messed with it, kicking it around awkwardly.

Could she be a Shadowseeker? She sure had to salt for it. He thought.

He put the chair back into place, realizing his shift was over. Mortal jobs were so weird. He never had a 'shift' at Hell. He was always there. He was its 'ruler' anyways.

He hated that. It was so annoying sometimes. Since Lucifer loved to bother him.

And of course, Satan's rebellion just made his job worse. He created those damn Shadowseekers to piss him off.

He really wanted to fine the Red Disemonrunner now. He just wanted to get out of this world and go back to Hell.

He opened the door to the classroom, walking past the hall and staring past the other teachers and staff members. He had to find Ryan. It was obvious to him Ryan had snuck into the school.

Stupid, stupid Ryan. He couldn't trick him.

Messengers.

He opened the double-doors, looking around the front of the school. He then slammed it behind him. He walked slowly to his car. He opened the crimson door, sitting in the drivers seat and shutting the door. Strapping the seatbelt over himself. He started the car and slowly reversed it out of the parking spot. Driving it out of the Juinor High and swerving it towards the main road.

He had to find Ryan.

He knew Ryan would most likely be in his small apartment building. For a demon messenger, Ryan wasn't the richest man on Earth.

Or any disemon, for that matter.

He stopped his car by the apartment building, unbuckling his seatbelt and getting out. He slammed the door behind him. The Devil opened the door and strolled inside, nodding to the lobby man.

''Room 14. Please.'' He said, a hint of anger in his voice.

''Righto.'' Responded the lobby man, giving him the key.

He walked up the stairs, stopping at '14' and shoving the key in the keyhole, unlocking it.

He slammed open the door.

Ryan glanced over at him, on his purple-yellow laptop. The smaller demon gave a sly wave. ''Heyo boss!'' He smiled.

''Have you found out who it is yet?''

''Who is what that I have found?''

''Red. Disemonrunner. Moron.'' The Devil spat coldly, kicking the door shut. Gazing around the dirty room. His bed was covered in tapes and New York hoodies. He snorted at Ryan in disgust. ''No.'' Ryan said simply, shrugging. 'But I found its gender in the cave-markings.''

''Really?!'' The Devil said with some hope.

''Its a girl.'' Ryan put his arms in the air, giving The Devil a balloon with 'Its a girl!' on it.

''Amazing.''

How pissy of Ryan.

The yellow-horned demon shrugged, putting the hood down from his black hoodie. ''Yeah, its this weird hair slash gender symbol here. Its like a plus sigh with x's all over it. I had to google so much to find out it said 'female.'''

''God is so nice to me.'' The Devil grumbled.

''Isn't he?'' Ryan sassed slyly.

He tapped his foot on the ground, glaring at the smaller demon. Sass fluttered around his eyes. Making him snort loudly.  Ryan kicked the front of his desk, yawning and getting out of the office chair. He flopped onto the bed, shoving away the tapes.

''So now what are ya gonna do?'' He asked.

''What do you mean?''

''I mean like, how's your hunt 'goin?''

''Terrible. At Juinor High's theres always a sassing girl in my class.''

''Hm.'' Ryan muttered, touching his finger to his chin. ''You shouldn't expect anyone goodie-goodie to be this 'thing' anyways.'' He said slowly.

''I think I found a Shadowseeker though.''

''Really.'' Said Ryan in a sly way.

''Her name is Kate Heronwing. She interrupts everyone.''

''Sounds like Lucifer to me.'' Ryan mocked.

The Devil growled, shoving his hands into his pockets. His cat-like pupil seeming to become narrower with anger.

''Ok. Ok. Jesus!'' Ryan put his hands up.

He sighed. ''I'd better get going. I have some sinned's to murder.'' Ryan muttered, shrugging. The Devil nodded and turned around, waving a slight 'good-bye' to Ryan. He opened the door and closed it shut, walking down the stairs.

'Its a girl.'

'Its a girl.'

He sighed. Staring at the stairs as he walked down them. His mind seemed to wander around in circles. He gave the key back to the lobby man, tossing it on the desk. He opened the glass door and opened his car door. Seating himself down and strapping the seatbelt on him.

'Its a girl.'

'Its a girl.'

He watched the cars back-lights, staring into their red 'eyes'. Then he felt a shiver go down his spine.

Red eyes.

She was somewhere.

And he would have to find her.

Eventually.

[ok. this chapter was kinda short but. this is what I had drafted so.]

[yeah its eerie.]

[I just imagine ryan flailing the balloons and baby stuff everywhere and being like]

['ITS A GIRL']
