Chapter 17: We Care For You

Harry's POV :)

        "We are One Direction." I expected for Lexi to be upset but she was happy. Her face lit up with excitement.

        "That's sick man!" she shouted. She looked back down at her phone and she started reading stuff off. "So you guys are One Direction. You guys were put together in a group on the X-Factor. But, you guys didn't win though, " she said. She really looked sad because we lost.

        "It's okay," I assured her. "Look how much we have done since the X-Factor! It feels like we won."

        "Can you guys sing a song for me?" she asked. "I mean, I know Liam isn't here but still, I wanna hear you guys sing."

        "Little things?" Louis asked.  

        "Sure," we all replied. 

        "I'll take Liam's part," I said.

                        Zayn: "Your hand fits in mine

                        But bear this in mind

                        And I'm joining up the dots with the freckles on your cheeks

                         Zayn: "I won't let these little things slip out of my mouth

                        Louis: "You can't go to bed without a cup of tea

                        And maybe that's the reason that you talk in your sleep

                        Though it makes no sense to me."

                Me: "I won't let these little things slip out of my mouth

                Me: "And I've just let these little things slip out of my mouth

        "You guys that was awesome!" she said.

        "Thanks love," Louis said.

        "So why did you guys move to America?"

        "Because we wanted a break," Zayn said. "We wanted to go somewhere adventurous. So why not America?"

        "Oh okay," she said.

        "You guys can go back and see Mr. Payne now," the nurse said.

        "Thanks," I said. "You guys ready?"

Lexi's POV :)

        I can't believe I'm friends with One Direction! Wow! I can't believe I didn't know earlier. Oh my gosh! I got in a fight with Harry whose apart of One Direction. I feel so stupid now. I need to calm down, haha. They are just normal people. So, I should treat them normally. Nothing should change because I found out their secret.

        "Hey Liam!" Louis yelled.

        "Hey you guys," he said groggily. He was on a lot of pain medication.

        "How ya feelin buddy?" Niall asked.

        "Not too bad."

        "Liam I'm so sorry!" I said. I started crying. "This is all my fault. I shouldn't have came over. I'm so sorry."

        "Lexi, it's not your fault. We were all trying to protect you," he said. "Even though we have only known you for like a week now, we are starting to care for you. You have been there for us since day one." They all nodded their heads in agreement. 

        "Aww! Thank you! I care about you guys too."        

        "Time for another group hug!" Niall yelled. We all ran over to Liam's hospital bed and gave each other a big group hug.

        I could really start getting used to this :)
