Chapter 43: Miracle.

Lexi's POV :)

        *dream*

        I see a girl walking towards me. She is very pretty. She has blonde hair and green eyes. Just beautiful.

        "Who are you?" I asked. 

        "Raegan,"

        Wait. Harry's Raegan?

        "Wait..did you used to date Harry?"

        "Yup, I sure did sweet cheeks," she said. "Now listen up. You are all that Harry really has. He is truly in love with you. Maybe he's even more in love with you than he was with me," she said. "But, you need to go back and live a happy life with Harry. You are his true love. And I'm happy that he is in love with you."

        "Wait. You were the one who told him to stay away from me in the first place."

        "I know, I know," she sighed. "But that is because I was jealous, and I wasn't willing to accept the fact that I am dead now and that Harry will have to move on without me. But, now he is a happier person because of you. So, now I'm happy that you are his girlfriend."

        I smiled at Raegan. "Thank you."

        "No problem," she said. "Now wake up and go back to prevent your brother from jumping off a cliff," she laughed.

        I laughed with her.

        "Nice to meet you Raegan."

        "Nice to meet you too Lexi."

Derek's POV :)

        "She's dead you guys." I told the boys' as we sat in the car.

        "What!" Harry yelled. "She can't be dead..."

        "Uh..she is..." I sniffled. "She's gone and she's never coming back."

        Tears started to run down Harry's face.

        The paramedics and police arrived.

        "Where's the suspect at?" the officer asked me.

        "He's inside the building," I said. "He should still be there. He might need to go to the hospital though because I shot him."

        The police officer nodded at me and walked inside of the building.

        The paramedics walked over to my sister.

        "She's dead," I told them.

        "Is this your sister?" one of them asked me.

        "Yes, she is."

        "Sorry for your loss," he replied.

        I gave him a small smile.

        I still can't believe she's dead.

        As the paramedics lifted Lex up onto the stretcher, her eyes opened and she gasped for air.

        "Lex! LEX!" I yelled.

        She continued to cough and I ran over to her.

        "Derek?"

        "It's me Lex. It's me. Thank god you are okay." Tears started rolling down my cheeks. Thank god she is okay!

        I kissed her on the forehead.

        "You fucking scared me Lex," I told her.

        "You know I would never die on you," she said in pain. She was wincing in pain after every word she told me.

        "Wow!" one of the paramedics said. "This is a miracle... a true blessing."

        "Yes, yes it is."

        "Now let's get you to the hospital young lady."

        They lifted Lex up onto the ambulance and shut the back doors.

        As the ambulance pulled away, a tear rolled down my cheek.

        My sister is alive.

        She is alive.

Harry's POV :)

        She can't be dead. She just can't be...

        This cannot be happening. 

        She is my life...

        Now I have nothing left. 

        Nothing...

        I saw the police officer put handcuffs on Jake. Finally, that bastard is going to jail...where he fucking belongs.

        Then I saw Derek run towards the car with a smile on his face.

        "What's up mate?" Niall asked.

        "She's not dead. She's not dead!" he yelled.

        "What do you mean she's not dead? You and I both saw her die," Zayn said.

        "Well she's not. They are taking her to the hospital right now for surgery."

        I cannot believe it. She's alive! The love of my life is alive! Suddenly I looked down at my leg.

        "Shit! My leg, I completely forgot about it."

        Derek ripped a part of his shirt and tore it off. He handed it to me.

        "Apply pressure to your leg to stop the bleeding," he told me.

        "We need to get your leg checked out at the hospital mate," Niall said.

        I nodded my head in agreement.

        Derek pulled out of the parking lot in front of the abandoned building and started driving towards the road. 

        This entire day has been a miracle...
