4 Years Later
1748

4 years ago I was oblivious to the Assassin and Templar war. 4 years ago I never knew about Assassin's and Templar's. I never knew that my parents were assassin's, from what I am told, they left the creed to keep me safe. 4 years ago, I decided to become an assassin to help people, when I was powerless against the Templars who killed my parents.

My parents came to the colonies from Scotland. I was born in Sleepy Hallow, New York. My parents always had thick Scottish accents. I picked up on their accents. Also I have dark brown hair and green eyes.

Me, at the age of 13 I am already mastering some skills. Like stealth, archery, and combat; Achilles has been training me well.

Over my 4 years of being in the Brotherhood, I have met two other assassin's in training, Liam O'Brien and Hope Jensen. When I joined the Brotherhood, Liam was Achilles's first student and me and Liam became fast friends. When Hope came two years after I joined, we all made her feel welcomed.

Now

"Kathryn, why do we have to hunt?" Hope complains yet again. I sigh.

"Well since Liam went into town, for only God knows what reason, Achilles asked us," I explain.

"Well I'm just saying it because it is deathly cold out," she says, and she is right. Achilles did send us out is this ghastly weather.

"The sooner we find something to eat, the sooner we can get out of here," I turn to her and she nods. After a few minutes later I see a deer, a large buck. I turn to Hope and smile, she gives me a grin.

I take out an arrow from my quiver, I hook it on to the string of my bow. I pull on the arrow and aim at the deer. I let out a breath and I let go of the arrow. A moment later the arrow hits the deer in the head, killing it instantly. Hope turns to me.

"Nice shot!" Hope says stunned. We walk up to the deer's body. I reach for the arrow and pull it out of its head, blood stains the snow. I instantly feel bad for this animal, it never it anything to me, and I just killed it. I look at the body and I look at Hope.

"Uhhh, Hope," I say, she turns to me.

"What?" She says.

"I just realised something, this deer must weigh 300 pounds, how are we going to get it back to camp?" I say. Hope looks at me with the same realization on her face.

"Shit! We did not think this through," she says.

"No, we did not," I say. She looks at me with determination.

"We are two strong women, we can carry this deer back to camp, we don't need anyone else," she say determined. I smile and nod my head.

"Yeah we can!" I say with the same determination. We carry the deer through the Forrest determined to get it back to camp.

About an hour later, we finally get back to camp. We struggle with carrying the deer. I see Liam laughing with someone about our situation. I glare at Liam.

"Liam, don't just stand there laughing you brute, help us," I yell at him, my scottish accent becoming more prominent with my frustration. Liam stops laughing and runs to our aid. He lifts the deer over his head with ease. I stair in awe.

"Liam, how do you do that?" Hope asks. He looks at and grins.

"Well from the looks of it I'm stronger than both of you," he says, and I punch him in the stomach and he groans, "What was the hell was that for?" I glare at him.

"For calling me and Hope weak!" I nearly yell at him. I walk away from him. Blinded by my frustration I run into a hard chest. I look up I see a handsome man with sort of long black hair and brown eyes. I stand there frozen, he looks down at me and my green eyes meet his brown eyes. He couldn't have been more than 17 years old.

"Are you alright lass," he says with an attractive Irish accent. I instantly snap out of it.

"Yes, I'm sorry for running into you, Irish are you not?" I say. He grins.

"Yes, you are Scottish, am I correct?" He says, "I'm Shay Cormac," he holds out his hand, I shake it.

"Kathryn McKay,"
