August 1752
Shay helps me with some research on the library. We are trying to find more information about the Pieces of Eden. Shay pulls out a book, and he opens it.
"What the hell?" Shay says confused, "was this the book you were telling me about?" I walk to him and I look at the contents of the book, and I see the same strange writings.
"Yeah, that's the book," I say. Shay nods and he closes the book and he puts it back on the self.
"Maybe Liam could help us translate this," Shay suggests. I shrug. Then Liam comes into the library. He sees us and he walks up to us.
"Kathryn, Achilles wants you," Liam tells me. I nod and I go to Achilles's study. He looks over his papers, and he doesn't see me come in.
"Achilles, you wanted to see me?" I say, he looks away from his papers and he sees me.
"Kathryn, I have a mission for you," Achilles says.
"What's my mission Achilles?" I ask him. Achilles looks at me.
"You will go to Boston, there has been a series of gruesome murders. All of them involving children," Achilles says sadly. I look at him shocked.
"Children? This person is murdering children!?" I say shocked. Achilles nods, "how many so far?"
"So far five children," Achilles says. I nod.
"Is there anything else I should know?" I ask.
"The children who were murdered lived on the streets, also this person is believed to be male" Achilles informs me.
"I will find him and he will die by my blade," I promise him. Achilles nods and I leave his study. I go to mine and Shay's room and I grab my bag and I start packing some clothes. Like my nightgown, shirts and pants.
"Kathryn where are you going?" I turn around and I see Shay at the doorway. He comes into our room.
"Achilles sent me on a mission," I tell him. Shay comes up to me and his hands grip my waist.
"What's the mission," Shay asks me.
"I'm going to Boston, children are being killed there," I look at him.
"Children? Incident children," Shay says shocked. I nod sadly.
"He will end by my blade," I say. Shay gives me a weak smile and he pecks my lips. I hug him.
"I love you," I say to him.
"I love you too," he says. I kiss him one last time.
"I'll see you when I get back," I tell him, and I go to the stables. I saddle my horse and I ride to Boston.
