Shay walks away. I stand against the wall trying to get my breathing under control. I move my hand to my lips, still can't believing the events that just happened. I smile a little. I bring my hand away from my lips, and put it on my neck, it feels a little sore. Hopefully Shay did not leave a mark.
My breathing becomes normal and I try to catch up to Shay. I get out of the ally and I see Shay. I start to run to him but then I'm tackled to the ground, when I look up I see a man in a red coat. Oh shit, the British. I look behind him and I see two other red coats pointing bayonets at me.
What do I do? The only thing I can, fight. I kick the red coat in front of me down then I run up to the ones holding the bayonets and assassinate then both with my hidden blade. Then I run as fast as I can, I run past people, and I think I ran past Shay.
About a few minutes later I stop running. I lean on a wall to catch my breath. I hear foot steps after me, thinking it is that guard I ready bow. I hear the stranger getting closer to me. Just as I'm about to let go of the arrow, Shay steps out from behind the ally wall. I breath out a sigh of relief and then I put my arrow back in my quiver.
"You scared me, I thought you were a guard," I say.
"Well I'm not, so what exactly happened back there?" Shay asks. I look at him.
"Oh, you mean me running?" I ask.
"Yeah," Shay says. I sigh.
"Well, I walked out of the ally way, then a guard tackled me to the ground. Then I see two more behind him holding guns. Then I knocked down the guard in front of me, then I killed the two guards holding the bayonets. Then I ran, and here I am now," I explain. Shay comes up to me and puts his hands on my shoulders and arms.
Then I feel a sharp pain in my left arm. I wince in pain. Shay moves his hand from my left arm and he inspects my wound. He look at me.
"Well I guess one of the bayonets cut you," Shay says. I chuckle a little, "it doesn't look bad, let's get you back to the hotel," I nod.
We walk back to the hotel with Shay's arm around my waist. Once we reach the hotel we go to our room, I take off my coat. Shay gets some water to clean my wound. Then he gets a needle and some thread. Once the needle come in contact with my skin, I wince in pain. Shay look at me and shakes his head.
"Oh, come it's not that bad," Shay says. I look at him and scoff.
"Well this the first time I had stitches," I say. Shay chuckles.
"Really, I thought you had stitches before," Shay says, and I shake my head.
"No, I've gotten cut before but I never had to have stitches," I explain. Shay nods. Once Shay is done stitching me, Shay kisses my forehead. But I pull on his arm and kiss his lips. Shay cups my face and kisses until we hear both Hope and Liam. We pull away from each other, and Shay moves to the other side of the room, and I quickly put my coat on.
Liam and Hope walk in the room and greet us.
"Shay, Kathryn, was your mission a success?" Liam asks. I look at Liam.
"Yes, Christopher Watson is no more," I answer, "Was your mission a success,"
"Marcus Roberts is also no more," Liam says. Great my plan of splitting up worked!
