Over the past two years me and Shay have became close. He's charming, he's handsome, he's caring, he's everything a girl could ask for. I sit in a chair in the manor thinking about Shay. Until Hope comes in and startles me.
"Did I scare you Kathryn?" Hope asks.
"A little," I say, "I was thinking about something when you came in," I smile.
"What were you thinking about?" She asks. Before I could answer she talks again, "I bet you were thinking about Shay!" My face burns, How could she possibly know that. I shake my head.
"No I wasn't, I - I was thinking about er...." I say trying to think of a lie.
"Uh, huh," she says knowing I'm lying, "By the way your face, right now, is as red as a tomato,"
"So what if I'm thinking about Shay, it's not like he even has feelings for me anyways," I say the last part saddened, "and besides he wouldn't ever have feelings for me," Hope scuffs.
"What makes you so sure about that?" Hope asks. I look at her.
"Because, I'm not pretty," I say and Hope scuffs again.
"Kathryn don't say that, you are gorgeous," Hope reassures me. I give her a half smile. Then Liam walks in.
"What are you two ladies talking about?" He asks.
"Nothing to concern yourself with Liam," I say. Then I see Shay beside him.
"Besides Liam, it was girl stuff that would bore you anyhow," Hope says grinning.
"Achilles wants us," Shay says. I nod. Me and Hope walk with them to Achilles's study. When we get there I see Achilles and Abigail doting over their baby boy, Connor. I smile at the scene. I've always imagined myself having a family one day. Liam clears his throat, trying to get the attention of our mentor. Achilles turns his head and smiles at us.
"Oh, there you 4 are," Achilles says.
"You wanted to see us," Liam says.
"Ah yes, you 4 will be going to Boston, Massachusetts; and locate information about two Templars, Marcus Roberts and Christopher Watson, once you get the information needed kill them,"
We nod our heads and set out for our mission to kill the Templars.
