I don't remember giving her my name.

Her eyes widened and tears were welling up on the corner of her eyes. She looked pretty much startled. Not even moving a muscle.

"Can I go inside now?"

Nanatili siyang nakatayo. Itinulak ko siya ng mahina at pinilit na pumasok sa loob. I'm tired. I don't have time for these things.

"My name's Reanah. Do you remember that?"

"No. Why would I?"

This place is weird. Why do the Headmistress and this roommate of mine already know my name? I don't remember talking to strangers.

Nakita kong iniyukom niya ang kanyang kamao at yumuko. "Such a vile human being." Tumingin siya ulit sa akin. "Nevermind." Pagkatapos no'n, nagtungo siya sa kanyang kwarto.

What was that? I shrugged and proceeded to my room. Napahinga ako ng malalim. I thought I'll have to worry about my things. The books were provided as well. Sa may desk, may nakita akong isang note.

"I handled everything. Don't worry."

It's strange. She seems to have prepared well which means she knows I'm going. Alam niya rin na mahilig akong magbasa ng libro. It's obvious, she already planned it all along. 

I threw myself on the bed and gazed at the white ceiling. I thought about my auntie, wondering how would she react once she founds out I'm in Animus, studying in this school. Then, it changed to Adri. Ano na kayang nangyari sa lalaking 'yon? Whatever. He can survive on his own. Now, I'm here. What now? I don't care about studying here at all. I have my own purpose why I'm here. For now, let's just act as if I care and gain more information about this world. 

"Miss me?"

Napabangon ako nang marinig ang isang pamilyar na boses at lumingon kung saan 'yon nanggaling. Someone jumped in the window and entered my room. Tumayo siya at ngumiti sa akin.

"Adri?" Tinasaan ko siya ng kilay. "You like to do a special entrance, don't you?"

"Good to know you've noticed." He casually sat on my chair and crossed his legs. "That shady old woman! Didn't know she's watching you all along and to think she altered the whole island. But, on the bright side, you're here. Welcome to Animus, Yelena! I guess you'll know who are your real parents?"

Sinamaan ko siya ng tingin. "Don't even mention them."
