Ilang mga oras ang lumipas habang binabasa ko ang nilalaman ng libro. I must say that it was enough to pique my interest. Habang nagbabasa, may isang spell ang nakakuha ng aking atensyon.

It is an ultimate spell that allows the user to eliminate anything that the user recognizes as an enemy (applicable for both magic user/s and spells). 

This spell is forbidden by the gods as it makes the user pay a considerable price. In exchange for chanting the spell, the user's identity will be erased in all worlds. No counterspells will help them be remembered by others. 

Although it seemed interesting for me, sa tingin ko hindi ko naman ito magagamit. I don't see myself using a spell with such a high price. Although I may seem like I don't care about anything, I'm also driven to leave a legacy in this world. Hindi ko 'yon magagawa kung makakalimutan lang ako ng lahat.

Isinara ko ang libro at iniligay ito sa bookshelf. Maya't-maya, nakarinig ako ng katok sa pinto kaya't binuksan ko ito. Sumalubong sa akin si Reanah na may seryosong ekspresyon.

"Droy has something to tell you. If it's alright with you, meet him in the greenhouse," sabi niya.

"Why?"

"Bakit ako tinatanong mo? Inutusan lang ako," mataray na sagot niya sabay alis.

Isinara ko ang pinto at napaisip kung bakit ako pinatawag ni Droy. Hindi ko alam kung anong gusto niyang sabihin at hindi ako interesado. Kaya't pinlano ko na hindi na lamang pumunta. Ngunit bumalik si Reanah at sinabing importante raw kaya biglang nagbago ang isip ko. Since it's cold, I took my hoodie and wore it before going outside to meet Droy in the green house. Habang naglalakad, hindi pa rin mawala sa isip ko ang mga tanong na bumubuo. Wala rin akong idea kung tungkol saan ang pag-uusapan namin.

I reached the greenhouse and immediately entered. I saw Droy observing a particular plant but stopped when he noticed me.

Ngumiti siya at binati ako. "Yel, you came."

"You said it's important."

Tumango siya at itinabi na muna ang halaman na pinag-aaralan niya. "It's about what you heard in Bertha. Alam kong narinig mo kami na nag-uusap tungkol sa'yo sa may staircase."

I simply nodded and let him speak.

"It was not my intention to accuse you. Nagulat at nagtaka lang talaga ako."

"Is that all?" tanong ko.

It never mattered to me, anyway. I don't really care if they find me suspicious or anything. Mas interesado pa ako tungkol sa sinabi niya na may kakaibang magic sa katawan ko.
