Finally, we finished cleaning the rooms on the 4th floor. Isang araw na lang at makakalaya na ako sa parusang 'to.

I took my belongs and prepared to go out. Napatigil ako sa paglalakad nang biglang may bumato sa akin ng papel sa ulo. Lumingon ako at nakita na nakatingin si Hunter sa akin. Sinamaan ko siya ng tingin ngunit sinenyasan niya lamang ako na buksan ang papel.

Binuksan ko ang papel na nakakumot at binasa ang nakasulat:

Meet me at the Miracle Forest's Entrance.

Tinapon ko ang papel at tuluyan nang lumabas sa room. I went to my dorm first to shower and change. Then, I walked to the direction where Hunter told me. Sinigurado kong walang makakakita sa akin dahil bawal lumabas sa grounds ng gabi.

As he instructed, I went to the entrance of Miracle Forest. Nakita kong nakasandal si Hunter sa puno, naghihintay sa akin. Sinamaan niya ako ng tingin bago bumuntong-hininga. "You better give those pictures back."

"You have my word," I replied.

Hunter went inside the forest as I followed. After a fifteen-minute walk, he led me to a treehouse.

"Is this yours?"

"My hideout place. No one expect me— now you, knows about this place. The school has a tracker of magic use in its grounds, but since the Miracle Forest is filled with mystical animals, it could cover up any use of magic. So we're safe to train here."

Umakyat siya sa tree house. "Stay here."

Nang walang pasabi, hinagis niya mula sa taas ang libro, kaya't wala akong nagawa kundi saluhin ang mga librong hinuhulog niya. "Read those books when you have free time. It will fasten up our pace."

Nang bumaba siya sa tree house, inilapag ko sa lupa ang mga libro. "Now squat."

I sat on the ground with crossed legs as he instructed.

"Magic is produced by the energy around us. In order to wield it, you have to suck the energy around you to provide enough magic power to use your ability," he explained. "Meditate for thirty minutes."

I closed my eyes and breathed in and out. Sinubukan kong linawin ang utak ko habang nagme-meditate. I tried to notice the energy around me, but I felt nothing.

"Don't force yourself. It has to be done naturally."
