Hunter and the others immediately went towards the crowd. Tumingin ako sa langit at napansin ang pagkinang nito ng kaunti. Hindi na ako nag-abala na sumunod sa kanila at tumakbo papunta sa Valerian Tower kung nasaan ang scepter.

Napansin ko na nagmamadaling umuwi sa kanya-kanyang mga tirahan ang mga tao at sinasara ang mga pinto at mga bintana. I can't blame them. There's another one who just died.

I sense uneasiness for some reason. Why do I feel like we're running out of time?

I sprinted towards the top of the tower and went for the scepter. Napansin kong mas malaki na ang crack. It's on the verge of breaking.

I gazed at the sky once more before shifting my eyes to the scepter.

The magic circle above the city.

Mysterious deaths.

Breaking scepter.

The Nullifying Forest.

The cyclopes.

The two suspicious people.

What the hell is going on? 

I have to figure this out. There's no way these are mere coincidences. It has to have connections somewhere. . . just waiting to be found. But how to connect? 

"Ate Yelena!"

Napalingon ko nang may bumanggit ng aking pangalan. It was Hilda, panting as she holds her spell book.

"Nakita ko na po!" Nabahiran ng takot ang kanyang mga mata. "The magic circle above is Oblatio!"

"Oblatio?"

Binigay niya sa akin ang libro at tinuro ang pamilyar na magic circle.

      Oblatio is an Ancient Dark Magic Circle that is banned to be used. It can collect an enormous amount of magic power which in return gets life from living things. The magic it collects depends on the lifespan stolen from a being.

     Once it gathers the amount of magic power the caster needs, it can either dispel or be used for destruction.

The dots are finally connecting. The magic circle which is Oblatio is the one responsible for the mysterious deaths in Bertha City. The gathered magic circle was supposed to either dispel or break the scepter in the Valerian Tower. The two suspicious people are likely the culprits behind this.
