Hello lovely readers! I'm so sorry for not updating as usual! Forgive me😁 I'm going away for two weeks on Friday but when I get back I will post one or two chapters to make up for it. Really. Sorry for being bad at updating!! Hope you enjoy this:).
P.s. I don't usually swear, but I felt like I needed to use it for Dean at some point.

Despite the situation, Dean could only smile as his brother walked over to him. Sam looked anxious when Dean called him, but before he could open his mouth, Dean grinned "was that her? Amelia?"
Sam's cheeks reddened "yeah. It was. But-"
"Knew you had it in you!"
"Dean. Why do you need me?"
Dean's grin quickly disappeared. "Right. That. You remember those vampires dad's supposed to be hunting?"
Alarm bells immediately started ringing in Sam's head. "Yeah...."
"Well, me and Cas were talking, and he knows a bit about this sort of stuff"
"Our kind of stuff? Like hunting?"
"Yeah. Well, not hunting, but the monsters, all that crap...he believes us. And he thinks they're coming here"
Any red left on Sam's face disappeared. "Here?"
"yeah. Here. Anyway, we made a plan.." Dean continued "you might have heard those strange sounds. I did some investigating and they're here alright. So now we're getting everyone out.  The fire drill room is pretty safe, so once everyone's in there, we take out any vamps we can"
"That's it?"
"Well, how was I supposed to know they were coming today!"
"It's just....we don't know how many there are....what if people see us?"
"We wait til the teachers are with everyone in the fire room. Then we get someone to call our names in role call, we come back here and we kill the vamps"
Sam nodded. "Let's do it"
*******
Ten minutes later, the plan had been put into action. Castiel had joined them at the gate "it's probably best if we split up and get as many as we can" he said
"good plan" Dean agreed "here" he said, pulling a long knife out of his bag "wanna use this?"
"Actually...I came prepared" said Cas hesitantly, pulling back one side of the trench coat he always wore to show them a silver blade shaped like a cone. Dean knew he and Sam were wondering the same thing. They had never seen that type of blade before. Where had it come from?
But they soon had to put this out of their minds. "By the way, Cas." Dean said as Cas hid the blade again. "It's best to take their heads off" and then they split up.
The three boys concentrated on stealth as they crept through the now-deserted corridors in search of the annoying fanged monsters. While walking past a history display, Dean heard snarling voices. They were in one of the classrooms. His heart racing, Dean readied his blade and crept to the door the voices were coming out of. He swallowed his nerves. His dad was the expert, not him. He had only ever helped his dad, not organised a hunt like this. He pushed these worrying thoughts away and paused with his hand on the door handle.

Without thinking too much, he threw open the door and turned towards the vampires, which hissed at him, showing their long fangs. He noticed that they were both women in identical, white dresses. Unusual for vampires. Suddenly, one launched itself at him and Dean let his instincts take over. He kicked his boot into her chest, sending her flying back, and while she was distracted he swept her feet out from under her to put her on the ground, and elbowed her in the face to keep her there. He took a deep breath before raising his knife and cutting her head off. By this time, the other vampire looked murderous. She jumped and he slammed her against the wall, holding his forearm across her neck, and soon, her head was rolling too. His shallow breathing the only sound in the sudden silence, Dean let his arms drop and turned to survey the room, adrenaline still rushing through him, to see a glowing vampire.
"Son of a....!"
Mere metres away from him, a fanged man in strangely Edwardian looking clothes had his claws out ready to strike where Dean had been standing seconds before. But now there was a blinding blue ethereal light shining out of the vampire's body and eyes. The light died and the vampire collapsed to reveal Cas standing behind him looking fierce. His arm dropped from the vampire's head and he looked up "Hello, Dean" he said simply
"Hi...er, thanks"
"You're welcome. He was going to attack you, and I was outside, so.."
"Yeah...that blue light?....that was you?"
"It was. Listen, Dean, you may find this hard to believe, but you believe in vampires, and you know how to handle them"-he looked at the two bodies without their heads-"do you believe in angels?"
Dean hesitated. He had been brought up to believe that there were plenty of supernatural creatures out there to get him, but religion was something he had never thought of as real....as something he should be involved with... All that stuff about God creating the world...it had never been his thing. "..um...I've never really thought about it"
"Well, you've seen the proof now...Dean, I'm an angel"
Maybe that's why I like you so much, Dean found himself thinking. But he said "what?"
"I'm an angel of the Lord"
Dean tried not to look as taken aback as he felt "seriously? Like, in-the-bible, son of God, from-heaven Angel?"
"Yes. I haven't told anyone else, but...you seem to know about this kind of thing. Where did you learn about vampires?"
Dean nearly laughed "oh god.....(he immediately felt awkward after saying that)...it's complicated. Me and Sam...our mom was killed by a demon when we were little..and since then, dad has taught us everything he knows so we can help find the son of a bitch that killed her."
"Your dad? But weren't you staying with your uncle?....."
"No...dad's been on a hunting trip..and he hasn't been home in a few days"
"I see."
There was a pause. "Should we...go and find Sam?" Dean suggested.
******
They found him on the floor above them. There seemed to be no more vampires around, although, including Sam's two, they had only killed 5. That struck Dean as strange.Suddenly, they heard a man's voice. An English accent. "Hello? Is there anyone there? I'm not here to hurt you!"
The boys froze as a strangely dressed man jogged towards them. He seemed young, with floppy black hair and a pointy chin, accompanied by a wise but friendly expression. The excitable-professor look was set off by his red bow tie and brown tweed jacket. He eyed the vampire blood-soaked knives Sam and Dean were holding. "Ok..... And what have you
Boys been up to?"
"Um....."
"We were just....."
The man interrupted "Saving the people I saw in that fire drill building? Good for you."
Sam spoke "who are you?"
The man grinned "The Doctor, but that's for later. " he turned to face Cas "I know who you are"
Cas frowned. "Or at least what you are. You're an angel, aren't you?"
Sam looked nonplussed. Dean frowned, and Cas' eyes narrowed "how could you know that?"
"Oh, I travel a lot. Been to heaven a few times. Nice place! I know an angel when I see one. What's your name?"
The group stayed silent. "trust me, I'm not here to hurt you. Im here to sort out whatever has invaded this school and find a young girl named Amelia Pond. Let's start by putting knives away and introducing ourselves, ok?"
Dean let his knife and Sam's drop into the bag he'd taken them from and Cas tucked his blade back into his coat.
"I'm Dean Winchester, this is my brother Sam"
" I'm Castiel. Yes, I am an angel"
"Good. I'm The Doctor, and I travel through time and space to save people and stop evil...."
"Doctor Who?" Cas blurted out.
The Doctor looked triumphant "you'd be surprised how few people ask that exact question. Just The Doctor. Now...do you happen to know what attacked the school?"
"Vampires" said Sam.
"And you killed them?"
"Yep....."
"Did you learn that from your dad?"
Sam and Dean answered simultaneously "How did you know?..."
"I was just looking for anything in this town that might attack a school, and I found a nest of those vampires. They had a man captured, so I managed to get him out. He told me his name's also Winchester."
Sam and Dean looked relieved "they're not vampires, by the way"
"What? Then what the hell are they?" Dean exclaimed.
"They're called Saturnynes. They have a perception filter that makes them look like vampires, but they're actually more like.....giant space fish"
"Giant space fish?" Repeated Dean incredulously.
"Yes. Do any of you know an Amelia Pond?"
*****
Thanks to Sam, They found Amelia with everyone else in the fire drill room, being closely watched by Rory. Sam approached her "everything ok?"
"Yeah, fine. Where were you?"
"That's a long story......someone wanted to see you" Sam stepped aside and let the doctor walk forward. Luckily, it was busy enough in the room that nobody noticed an extra adult. When Amelia saw him, her eyes widened, and then she looked angry. "Why are you here?"
"You've grown since I last saw you"
"That's because last time was SEVEN YEARS ago!"
"Oh....I didn't realise I was so late, I'm sorry ,Amelia"
"You said five minutes!" She half shouted, and then her anger died down slightly "nobody believed me, you know"
"I know. Please, give me a chance. I've got something to do this time and I'm staying, cross my hearts."
Amelia started to retort, but by this time, Rory had noticed the doctor too "is that.."
"Yes" Amelia replied
"Seriously? The one you made puppets of? Made me dress up as?"
"Oh, shut up about that...Yes, it's the raggedy doctor"
Sam cut in..."you know him?"
But before Amelia could reply, John walked up to join the group "Sherlock wants to know if anyone knows when we're getting out of here...says it can't possibly be this bad a fire when we can't see any flames....and who's that?" He looked at the doctor .
The doctor was looking at the group with a distinct air of knowing something no one else did. "We have a job to do. Sam, Dean, Castiel, Amelia, Rory too, John, get your friend Sherlock and tell him you're all coming to help me for a minute."
******
"You've got a.....phone box?" John said as they came into view of the doctor's "vessel"
"Wait and see" said Amelia.
The doctor opened the doors with a click of his fingers and they all gaped.
Inside the blue London phone box, was an entire room.
The whole thing glowed a bright orange. A pathway and some stairs led up to a central control unit, there were round shapes on the walls and the engine thrummed like spaceships that John had only seen in movies
"But that's not possi...." Sherlock started and then shook his head and fell silent.
"Well? Is anyone coming in?" The doctor laughed and they started making their way into the mysterious machine.
"It's...bigger on the inside" Cas said as he made his way to the console, still looking around. Sam and Dean noticed their dad sitting in a chair beside it, looking slightly bruised but otherwise unharmed.
The doctor danced around the controls , looking more and more like an excited dog "you'd be surprised how many people say that Cas. So! Welcome to the TARDIS. My time machine, bigger on the inside, travels anywhere in time and space, and all that. I've brought you all here because I think you can help me. Any questions?"
Everyone that wasn't John Winchester or the Doctor raised their hand.
"Ok, right...first things first. Before we get rid of the bodies of those vampires and give your classmates the green light to go back into the school, I think we all have some explaining to do"
Getting good now guys! This chapter was probably too long but I can't seem to help myself haha....
