Should I do haikus?:) let me know. Here's the next chapter. Like I hoped, it's much quicker to update when they're shorter. There's a bit more exciting stuff happening now! Enjoy!
Sherlock still didn't know how this TARDIS even existed. Time travel was difficult enough, but being smaller on the outside? Surely these things were  only possible with the technology from the future the doctor had probably been to. Sherlock longed to find out how it worked. When he asked the Doctor, he said it was dimensionally transcendent.* Whatever that meant. As they explored the giant ship, they found a library with a swimming pool in it, rooms with seemingly useless gadgets in, rooms with alien like, unfamiliar gadgets in them, plenty of things that seemed to be generating energy for various purposes, rooms the doctor said they weren't  allowed into, rooms that seemed to be outside but must have been part of the ship, rooms with strange noises coming out of them, and several bedrooms. The doctor must have traveled with people before, then, Sherlock thought to himself. It was one of the few things he had been able to deduce about the time traveller. He acted almost like he had seen some bad things which he covered up with a childish attitude when he needed to, but he guessed travelling through time and space fighting monsters did that to you. Yet Sherlock could see that he was a peaceful man, and wise beyond a level that he could understand. Still, he couldn't get any more information or details because the doctor was so..complicated. He was hard to understand and Sherlock knew he'd probably need to spend more time with the doctor to know more. Everyone else was mostly easy to see. Amelia had seen the doctor before, it seemed, unlike Rory, who had looked completely awestruck, like John. Sam didn't just look awestruck, he looked curious. Like Sherlock,he wanted to find out the truth, and while Sherlock was curious like him, John also seemed alert and to be preparing for possible danger like him. Dean had the same look, like he wished he had his knife so he could hold it out in front of him to defend himself. It was amazing how different each member of the group was from the others. How long had they been hunting? He had suspected that something from their past had triggered it,but that was before he had seen proof that monsters existed. Add that to the idea of time travel, and an endless amount of things were possible...
"Sherlock?" John snapped him out of his thoughts as they walked through the library.
"Yes?"
" the others want to talk to us about something"
He nodded and saw that by "the others" John meant Sam, Dean and Castiel.
                                                                                                       *****
Amelia and Rory had been exploring a different part of the TARDIS , and were trying to find their way back to the console room when they caught a snatch of conversation from the library.
".......not human?"
Amy and Rory knew this could mean a lot of things in this situation, and shared a look. Cautiously, they opened the door.
Predictably , everyone stopped talking and looked at them.
"...are we interrupting?" Rory said carefully. But Sam shook his head.
"Nah. We wondered where you were, actually. We were talking about the Saturnynes"
"What about them?" Amelia asked.
Dean said "well, we've had experience with these kinda things and...what kinda monster attacks a school?"
"Well, that's what we need to find out" answered John "we should really ask the doctor or your dad about this"
"Yeah but does he even know? Can we trust him?" First he barges in at school when something is about to kill us, then drags us into a time Machine saying we need to help him..."
"Maybe he doesn't know" said a voice and everyone looked up "but I don't think he wants to hurt us"
Sherlock had barely spoken from the start and his sudden contribution surprised most of them. "He's right" Amelia agreed "The Doctor saves people for a living. Maybe he thinks there's something about us and we can help him find out about them. But he wouldn't take us in here just to hurt us. Last time, when I was seven..." She paused. She hadn't revealed anything about her last encounter with the Doctor the the group yet, but now was as good a time as any, right? "I was scared of a crack in my wall. I kept hearing voices from it. He kind of crash landed in my garden but he said he could fix it. He knew what it was, but then he rushed off and said he'd be back in five minutes....yeah. I fell asleep waiting in the garden"
Before Amelia could realise that the last part of her story didn't make the doctor seem very helpful, Rory carried on "she packed and everything. Called him the raggedy doc..." He was cut of by a kick to the shin from Amelia. "My point is,  you can trust him"she finished.
The others nodded, if a bit reluctantly.
"We can help fight these monsters, whatever they are" Dean said , and Cas agreed
"he seems to be a good man. We shouldn't give up on him"
"Our dad will help too" Sam "he's been there with them. He raised us as hunters, and he hasn't stopped trying to find the thing that burned our mom.."
"Sammy" Dean stopped him "no chick flick moments"
But no one else spoke. It was a wordless agreement. They were going to help the doctor.

Meanwhile, the doctor was waiting in the console room. He hoped the kids had agreed. It might be nice to get them on his side. Now that John (Winchester) had recovered and seen his children safe again, he had asked him what he knew about his captives.
Just then, the group reappeared. "Good!" He said when he saw them "I hope you enjoyed the tour. Anyone feel like helping me make a plan?"

*if you're wondering what dimensional transcendentalism is, read on!
It's basically a made up thing (I think. Or a least a theory) that explains how the TARDIS is bigger on the inside. Here's how it works.
(This is how the fourth doctor explained it to Leela in one episode and I love it haha)
It works because insides and outsides are not in the same dimension. Imagine you have two boxes to represent two dimensions, and outside and an inside. One is clearly larger. But if you put that larger one far away and bring the smaller one closer to you, the further away one will look smaller than the other one. So if you could keep it far away, but have it in the same place as the smaller one closest to you at the same time, it would fit inside, and still be bigger than the other. Transdimensional engineering!
I hope that made sense. Lol I feel cool because I explained some science.
Agh I just realised that I sometimes naturally write really long descriptions and paragraphs....must be all the Tolkien I've read. Oh well, might help with history essays😂

sorry this took a few days but I wasn't feeling motivated...until I played the POTC soundtrack! Lol. It's a slight filler chapter again but there will be more action in the next one. I thought a conversation about the situation would be a good way for all the characters to interact more:)ihis you lied this and I have to warn you we're getting nearer the end!
P.S tell me if you spotted the Hamilton reference or any other references I made to the shows!
