Triwizard tournament
The delegations from Beauxbatons and Durmstrang
Will be arriving at 6 o'clock on Friday 30th of October.
Lessons will end half and hour early-

"Brilliant" I said sarcastically to Pansy "it's potions last thing on Friday! Snape won't have time to poison us all!"

Students will return their bags to their common rooms
and assemble in front of the castle to greet our guests
Before the welcoming feast.

"Only a week away!" Said Ernie Macmillan of Hufflepuff, emerging from the crowd, his eyes gleaming "I wonder if Cedric knows? I think I'll go and tell him..."

"Cedric?" Said Goyle blankly, as Ernie hurried off.

"Diggory" said Blaise blankly "He must be entering the tournament"

"That idiot, Hogwarts champion?" Laughed Goyle, as we pushed our way through the chattering crowd towards the staircase.

"He's not an idiot Gregory" I replied, calling Goyle by his first name, I always do when he annoys me "I've heard he's a really good student- and he's a prefect"

"You only like him because he's handsome, other wise you'd hate him" Goyle pointed out "you hate everyone... I'd say you're worse than Malfoy"

"Excuse me, I don't like people just because they are handsome!" I raised my voice slightly.

Blaise gave a loud fake cough, which sounded oddly like "Lockhart!"

This caused me to whip he head round to him "got something to say Zabini?"

"Nope" he grinned "I got the message across just fine"

Later that day I received a reply from sirius. Harry and I met in the library to read it.

"Nice try, Guys.
I'm back in the country and well hidden. I want you two to keep me posted on everything that's going on at Hogwarts.
Don't use Hedwig.
And don't worry about me, just watch out for eachother. Don't forget what I said about your scars.
Sirius."

"I knew you wouldn't fool him" said Harry, who was grinning slightly.

I don't know if I feel more or less worried than before. I suppose that Sirius managing to get back without being caught was something. I can't deny, either, that the idea of Sirius so much closer was reassuring; at least I wouldn't have to wait so long for a reply every time we wrote.

"I don't believe it!" Ron said, in a stunned voice, that carried from the Gryffindor table, over Hufflepuff table, Ravenclaw table and to Slytherin table "Krum, Harry, Victor Krum!'

I had heard Ron beckon the Durmstrang boys over the the Gryffindor table. But it was too late, they had already situated themselves at the Slytherin table. Krum sat in the free seat across from me. I looked over his shoulder towards Ron, who didn't look too pleased. I noticed that Malfoy was already leaning over me, towards Krum, making it almost impossible for me to move.

Yeah, that's right, swarm up to Krum. I bet he can see right through you. I bet he gets people fawning over him all the time. I scoffed and shoved him away from me.

"If you insist on being so ridiculously close to Krum, Malfoy" I spoke clearly and loudly, determined to show Malfoy he can't push me around "Why don't you just ask to sit on his lap?"
