The Date

The next morning, Goku woke up before Chichi, which surprised him. He got dressed quickly and quietly, then hurridly wrote a note to Chichi and left it on the dresser for her. He grabbed his cell phone and a jacket and left; he didn't want to be hassled by Chichi about where he was going. He entered the city and walked over to the mall. Vegeta was already sitting at a bench in front of it. As Goku approached, Vegeta handed him a doughnut.
"Thanks!" said Goku. "That was thoughtful."
"I figured you might be hungry," said Vegeta, standing.
"You were right," said Goku with a laugh. "I didn't wait for Chichi to get up and make breakfast." Vegeta smirked, and then shivered as a strong, cold wind blew past. He tugged his jacket closer to himself, furrowing his brow.
"It feels a little too cold for summer," he said. "I wonder what's going on with the weather." Goku shrugged.
"Dunno," he said. "Anyway, let's go."
"Damn you," said Vegeta. "I thought you forgot."
"Nope!" They went into the mall and started searching the stores. After about an hour, Vegeta was getting impatient.
"Look, Kakarot," he said. "They don't have leather pants, okay? Let's just go."
"One more store," Goku said, and he ran into the nearest store thay hadn't been in yet. Vegeta sighed and followed him unenthusiastically. He watched Goku search, and was surprised when he said, "Aha!" and held up a pair of sleek black leather pants. Vegeta's jaw dropped.
"Damn!" he cursed. Goku laughed.
"I'll make it easier on you," he said. "I'll buy them."
"You really want me to wear those, don't you..." said Vegeta, slightly ammused.
"Hey, I was your slave for a whole day. You owe me," said Goku, laughing. He went to go purchase them. Vegeta watched him, and then blinked. When Goku came back with the bag, they left the store.
"I noticed you're still wearing that dog collar," said Vegeta. Goku smiled, nodding.
"Yep."
"Why? I thought you said it was uncomfortable."
"It kind of is, but you gave it to me, so that's why I wear it." Vegeta was silent, seeming surprised by that answer
