Afraid to say you love me

"Bulma handled it really well," said Goku, smiling. Everyone else was silent.
"Wow," said Yamcha slowly. "Who knew... I mean, Goku you could kind of tell, but Vegeta? Hey!" He smiled. "Does this mean I can have Bulma back?" Vegeta frowned.
"I doubt she wants you, but go ahead and try," he said coldly. Yamcha cheered for himself. "Asshole..."
"I'm proud of you, Goku," said Krillan, walking up and patting him on the back. "You did the right thing. Let's just hope Chichi can let this whole thing go as easily as Bulma did."
"You're not gay, are you?" said Videl to Gohan suddenly. Gohan smiled.
"No no," he said. "I'm the straight son. Don't worry." Videl smiled.
"I wonder if that means Pan will turn out a lesbian..." she said thoughtfully. Goten and Trunks snorted with laughter.
"Somehow I always figured something would happen between you two," said Piccolo. "Worst enemies turning out to be gay lovers..."
"You could write a book!" said Master Roshi. Goku laughed nervously, and Vegeta couldn't help but smile.
"I hope no one will feel awkward around us," said Goku.
"I think Chichi and Bulma might for awhile," said Tien. "Even though Bulma took it well, her heart is still broken."
"Something tells me her and Chichi are going to be spending a lot of time together to speed up the healing process," said Chiaotzu.
"I wouldn't go home today though, Goku," said Master Roshi. "Or if you do, sleep with one eye open! I wouldn't put it past Chichi to murder you in your sleep!"
"I'll figure something out," said Goku. He looked at Vegeta who was smiling at him.
"No more hiding," he said softly. Goku smiled and nodded.
"Still afraid to say you love me?" he teased. Vegeta grabbed his hand, lacing their fingers.
"Not at all," said Vegeta.
