VEGETA SAVED THE WORLD

"Goten!" said Gohan as he burst into Goten's room. Goten looked up from his desk; he had been working on a summer assignment. "You won't believe what I saw dad and Vegeta doing!"
"Shh! Shut the door!" hissed Goten, and Gohan blinked, pushing the door closed. "Let me guess. You saw dad and Vegeta doing something naughty?"
"Yes," said Gohan calmly. "How did you know?"
"I already knew what they were doing," said Goten. "They told me and Trunks after they found out we had been making out."
"Wait, what?" said Gohan, shaking his head in confusion. "You and Trunks were... what?"
"Making out," Goten repeated. "I'm gay too, Gohan. Trunks and I are going out."
"When did this happen?"
"Yesterday." Gohan didn't know what to say.
"Am I gay too?" he said finally. Goten laughed.
"I dunno, you seem pretty straight to me," he said. "You like having sex with Videl, right?" Gohan smiled.
"Yes..." he said.
"There you go," said Goten. "As long as you like women, you're straight. Unless you like guys too?"
"No! No, no, no..." said Gohan laughing. "No... I like women and only women."
"Problem solved," said Goten.
"Should we tell mom about... you know..." said Gohan, but Goten stood quickly.
"No! Don't tell mom or anyone else!" he said quickly.
"Krillan knows," said Gohan. "He was there when I saw it. It's possible he's already gone home to tell Eighteen."
"Shit!" Goten exclaimed. "You don't think they'd tell anyone else, do you?" Gohan shook his head. Outside of the room, they heard the front door open and Goku's voice.
"I'm home! What's for dinner? Vegeta saved the world today!" he said loudly. Then there was Chichi's voice.
"Why did Vegeta save it? Why didn't you save it, huh?" she said. Gohan and Goten listened to their father trying to explain what happened, but Chichi just kept nagging.
"I don't blame dad for wanting to leave mom," said Goten. "Honestly, I can't even stand her sometimes." Gohan sighed, privately agreeing. Goku opened the door of Goten's room, then blinked.
"Oh, hey Gohan," he said. "You gonna stay for dinner tonight?"
"Uh... sure dad," he said, unable to look at his father.
"Something wrong?" asked Goku, tilting his head.
"I just..." Gohan started, and he met Goten's gaze. Goten shook his head very faintly. "Why didn't you tell me Goten was gay?" Goku blinked, then smiled.
"Oh, well we just found out yesterday," said Goku. "I was going to tell you eventually." Gohan smiled.
"Well, I'm still straight," said Gohan. "You must feel lucky to have one of each. Gives you more variety." Goku laughed.
"Whatever makes you two happy, it's really all the same to me," he said. "Love is love."
"Yea Gohan," said Goten with a smirk.
"Boys! Dinner!" called Chichi from the kitchen. The family ate together happily; it had been a long time since Gohan joined them for dinner.
After dinner, Gohan went home, and Goten went to bed. Goku helped Chichi clean up the kitchen, telling her happily how Vegeta killed Anix, which she didn't seem too interested in.
