Previously...
Gregory froze and gripped me tightly.
"Oh no..."
And so we continue...I looked at him oddly and looked over in the dark direction he was looking.
"W-what is it? Is something wrong?"
I questioned, worried that something happened. He held my wrist tightly as he looked worried as well.
"My family is coming! Me and Rudolph need to hide you and your brother!"
I shakily nodded and he held me tight as I clung to his arm. He flew to the graveyard quickly and the second we landed, I smelt the same thing I smelt on Gregory. A weird, bitter sulfuric smell. This time much stronger. I coughed slightly as I tried to get used to the nasty smell. I saw my trembling little brother and ran over to him.
"Coop!"
I yelped, he looked at me as I hugged him. He squeezed me with his small arms as I hoisted him on my hip. Gregory bolted next to me tugged my arm roughly behind a wide tall tombstone.
"Come on! I have to hide you two!"
He hissed, I nodded and held Cooper close. Rudolph took Tony's hand and stood in a small clearing as three bats became visible in the sky. Gregory hugged me close and whispered,
"Stay quiet. Don't make a sound."
I nodded again and told my brother to be quiet as well. He just nodded and glared at Gregory, as the vampire hugged my waist quickly. Coop pushed him off and hugged me, still glaring at him. Gregory bared his teeth and muttered.
"I'd so drain you..."
He turned and trudged to the clearing were his brother was. The bats in mid air turned to humans. One a woman, one a man, and the last a girl.
'I guess that Rudolph's twin.'
I thought, I saw Gregory was visibly skittish as he kept throwing short small glances towards our hiding spot. I looked at him right in the eye, softly nodding, showing him that we were fine. He smiled softly and looked back at his family as they landed. The girl ran to the two small boys and hugged Tony tightly.
"Oh my love I've missed you!!"
She said lovingly, Tony just nodded. Rudolph and Gregory seemed to scowl in annoyance.
"Anna."
Gregory said, she looked and sighed, letting go of Tony then hugging Rudolph and hesitantly hugging the pissy teen.
"Darling!"
The woman exclaimed, as she sped over to Gregory quickly. She hugged him and kissed his forehead and cheeks over and over making me smile and make the smallest of giggles. Coop whispered in my ear,
"Looks like your boyfriend is a mommy's boy."
I rolled my eyes and gave him the 'are you serious?' face.
He giggled softly and the father hugged Rudolph slightly as trying to keep his emotions inside.
"Mother! Please!"
Gregory sputtered out as he tried to gingerly push her off. She sighed and let go.
"Oh, Gregory you used to love it when I hugged and loved you."
The mother said sadly, he crossed his arms and replied coldly with,
"Yes, when I was nine."
The father glared at Gregory and walked up to him saying,
"Where have you been?!"
Gregory sighed, and looked away, frustrated.
"Father I was just out. I'm sixteen. I think I'm old enough to go out on my own without having to constantly have you on my back. Also I've been sixteen for centuries now. Why does it still matter?"
The father growled and Tony whispered to Rudolph and the girl, Anna, looked at him and said,
"Wait, what do you mean other human girl?!"
Tony looked at her and said,
"What? No! I-I she's a teenager!"
'Damn it!!'
I screamed in my head. Rudolph groaned and turned to Tony.
"Great job."
He muttered, Gregory gulped and I held Cooper close to my body. He gripped the fabric of my dress tightly with his small hands.
"What?!"
The father roared, I started to develop a plan in my head as I realized, if I ran past the last tombstones between the rusted gates of the graveyard I can slip out of the mossy area and run to the dark woods. I gently hid my small brother in a small hole as only he could fit in it. I covered him with some moss quickly and prepped myself. I took a deep breath and booked it. The father yelled angrily and the woman gasped and turned to watch me. Rudolph was shocked along with Tony and Gregory shot into the sky as the girl hissed and bolted after me as fast as she could. I yelped and cursed as I turned my head to see the girl chasing me as I ran I felt cold arms around my waist. I gasped as I was pulled into a cold body and felt my black combat boots leave the ground.
"Ah!"
I let out a surprised yelp, I was turned around to see Gregory gripping me close. I blushed deeply, and hugged his neck tightly.
"Your safe now... My sister can't fly as fast as me."
He said, nuzzling my neck making me blush more and squeak. I buried my head in his chest. He chuckled and rested his chin on my head. We stayed like that for a few seconds before he said,
"The boys are coming."
I turned my head slowly, still clutching his lapel. I saw Rudolph flew up with us, Cooper holding one cold hand and Tony clutching the other. I smile, as I see my brother. He is visibly glaring at Gregory and I felt a growl come from the vampire I was clutching. I giggled and turned to him.
"He's just a seven year old kid."
I whispered, he smiled and held me closer by the waist smirking at my young brother, causing the small boy to yell.
"Get your moldy nasty hands off my sister evil ugly demon boy!"
I laughed and Gregory smirked more, narrowing his eyes.
"No, and I may be mistaken but I if I'm correct, your sister thinks otherwise."
I blushed beet red, Tony giggled and Rudolph smirked.
'He looks so much like Gregory when he smirks...'
I thought as I tighten my grip on him.
"I think it's time to go, brother."
Rudolph says, Gregory nods and Rudolph takes off into the sky.
