Prolog:
September 26, 2013: Virginia Courthouse: 11:30 AM
Third Person POV:
True is, it’s a waste of time for everyone to be here. The lawyer seems to be wasting everyone’s time with these pointless questioning. All his questions could have been answered through the report that the team filled out. But no, this man has to drag this session on and on.
“Agent Morgan, can you tell the counselor what relationship you have with Ms. Blackwells?” The lawyer, his tag said Walter, asks.
“I do not have a relationship with Ms. Blackwells.” Morgan said, trying to keep the annoyance out of his face and voice
“But it is true that you know her. Correct? ” Mr. Walter pushed on, walking closer to the stand where Morgan was sitting.
As he got near, Morgan has to stop himself from wanting to lean away. The man smelt like he ate way too many baloney sandwiches with multiple pickles on the side.
“Yes, I do know her. She was a victim from a case the BAU was working on TWO years ago.” Morgan replied, in his mind, he already knew where this whole thing was leading.
The lawyer was out to get him, trying to find a mistake that he has made to bring down the BAU. Sadly for him and luckily for Morgan, this case went through very smoothly. There weren’t any discrepancies, and everything was done in an orderly fashion.
“Well then Agent Morgan, would you mind going through the whole case for the counsel here?” Mr. Walter asked, with a sleazy looking smile on his face.
“Honestly Mr. Walter, I think this is a waste of our time and the counselor’s time. What you’re asking me to said is already in the case report the BAU filled out.” Morgan replied, his tone told the lawyer that his patient was wearing thin.
“Humor us, Agent Morgan.”
