Morgan Side:
Time seems to be moving in slow motion for the impatient agent. He had listen to his boss and waited out here while his team rush into the building. After they have disappeared, he waited until the backup got here.
All the panic was now emerging again. It was hard for him to just stand here waiting when all he wanted to go was rush in there and kick the door down to get to her. He never felt so attached to anyone on a case before and all these emotions was confusing him.
Morgan could no longer lie to himself. He was hopelessly attracted to this girl, not anything near love, but there was definitely something that always seems to bring him back to her.
When he first saw her at the gas station, he’s alpha personality was instantly attracted to how small and fragile she was. She needed someone to protect her from all the evil in this world and Derek Morgan stared in the face of evil daily. It was part of his job description.
And now he couldn’t even protect her. She was in there facing a monster all by herself. He almost wanted to laugh at her brave yet idiotic action.
He hears the sound of siren reach closer and thanks the heaven, because he was moments away from storming into the building.
Morgan’s heart was racing fast as he ran up the stairs toward the classroom. As he reached closer, his heart nearly stop at the sound of gun shots. He paused in his running before charging at full speed into the classroom.
In the classroom, the only thing he could see was her on the floor. “Allie!” he yelled
“Morgan, she’s okay.” He heard someone reassuring him, but he has to see for himself. He rushes toward her fallen body and saw that she was still breathing. Letting out a breathe that he didn’t know he was holding, he looked around the room.
His teammates were surrounding him; all with a concern look on their face.
“It seems your girl has a bit of a fighter in her., didn’t go down without a fight.” Rossi said in an attempt to lighten the tense mood.
“Let’s get her to the hospital to make sure she’s okay.” Hotch said as the paramedics rushed in.
“I’m not leaving her side again Hotch.” Morgan said in a firm voice. He was ready to fight his boss with this.
“I won’t ask that from you Morgan. Besides, she has no one else with her right now.” Hotch said in a kind voice.
Morgan gave him a grateful smile before lifting her into the stretchers and follows the paramedics out.
“He’s falling hard for her.” Prentiss said. The rest of the team just look at their fellow agent as he hover warily over the paramedics.
“I’m just glad he followed my instruction or else it would have been a mess.” Hotch said “Now lefts go back to the station to pack up. I hope you don’t mind staying an extra day.”
“We don’t mind at all. I doubt he’ll leave her side until she wakes up.” JJ said before they all leave the room.
At the Hospital: 5:00 AM
It’s been four hours since and Allie was still knocked out. Morgan was with her the whole time and was grateful when his teammate came to visit with a cup of much needed coffee and the news that they would not be leaving till the next day.
After they left, Morgan found himself staring at her. She looks like an angel, laying there with the long dark hair surrounding her face like a halo. However, she looked so pale and extremely fragile laying there.
