Police Station: The Profile

“The unsub we are looking for is a male in his early 20s. He is a student at UGA and knows the campus very well. He blends in to the background and most time people just over look him. He’s alone most of time and crave for the attention that he’s not receiving, either at home or in his love life.” Hotch said to the crowed room full of police officers.

“He’s what we call an obsessive stalker. He fantasies about having a relationship with Ms. Blackwell and feel threaten by other that comes close to her when he couldn’t.” Rossi adds on.

“We vaguely associate his killings with Richard Ramirez, who was on death row at San Quentin State Prison since he was convicted in 1989 of 13 murders in 1984 and 1985. He was nicknamed the Night Stalker by the media. Ramirez, in his last years on death row, revealed his obsession with Asian women and reluctance to show remorse. Thought the difference here is that Ramirez was a self-proclaimed Satanist whose trial produced gruesome details about his mutilation of his victims.” Reid said.

“Like in the case of Amanda Jones, Tracy Darwin, and Denise Turner, the unsub feels that they are a obstacle because of something as petty as the fact that they are sitting next to her, in the seat that he want to sit in. In Jordon Cain’s case, unsub might have saw that Cain and Allie are close and feels threaten by him.”

“So you’re telling us that, some son of a bitch is out there killing innocent children because she,” a police officer said pointing to Allie who was sitting in a corner next to Morgan, “rejected him.” His tone shows that he blames her for the killing.

“As we’ve mentioned before, this unsub is crave for the attention. This guy would have reacted like this if anyone shows him any kind of kindness. Ms. Blackwell might have done so intentionally, such as allowing him to borrow a pencil or simply giving him a greeting smile. Small things like this sets off his obsessive nature.” Morgan said with his tone hard; silently threaten anyone that dare accuse her.

When no one said anything, Allie spoke up for the first time and said, “I’ve lost four friends in the span of two weeks. It’s difficult sleeping at night because while I didn’t kill them, if feels like I had a hand on it somehow. That guilt is eating me up because how can I ever face their families when this is all over? How can I tell them that it’s because of me that their child was murder? I hope he come find me, because when he does, I’ll make him pay for the pain he cause, I’ll make him regret the day he was ever conceived.” Then she walks out of the station with tears running down her face. Morgan rush to follow her out.

Outside behind the police station, Morgan found her curled up in a small ball up again the ally wall. It breaks his heart to see her in so much pain. Silently he sat down next to her.

“You know that no one blames you right? You’re a victim in this case too.” Morgan said. And in a blur he had a crying girl in his arms. They sat there for a while with him rubs her back and tries soothing her.

Somehow, Morgan knew she wasn’t just crying about the case. She was crying for the families that lost their love ones, she was crying for how alone she was, and how scared she felt.

“We’ll catch him. I promise you.” He said with determination laced in his voice.
