Police Station:

After a short drive, Morgan was back at the police station with the Chinese food in his hand. His food had turned cold long ago, but he no longer had any appetite. The station was quieter now that it was time for the shift changes. He quickly walks to the board room that was giving to BAU for this case. Everyone was still in there working on the case.

“Dang Morgan, we though you went back to the hotel without us. What took you so long?” Prentiss asked in a joking manner.

He began telling the team the event that took place at the gas station and at Allie’s house. Everyone around the table has a sympathetic look on their face for the girl.

Just then, Garcia’s face came through the webcam and she greeted them with a, “Hello my lovely crime fighters”

“I’ve done some snooping into Allie Blackwell life. She is the youngest child of a Linda and Ted Blackwell. Linda Blackwell married Ted Blackwell 20 years ago when Ted was vacationing in Hawaii the same time Allie’s mother was vacationing. Allie sister is Myla Blackwell, 23 and attend college in Macon, GA.

“Now, here is where the plot thickens, Allie’s parent live in Georgia after they got married before moving to California. Apparently in 2009, they won the lottery, but they were smart enough to keep in on the DL. In fact they were so smart that I almost missed that. But anyway, they didn’t tell anyone, Ted and Linda both quit their job and told coworkers and friends that they been saving up for a while and wanted to move to Cali.

“Weeks before they moved, Allie got into a huge argument with her parent. She wanted to remain in Georgia for unknown reasons but her parent refused. She somehow managed to persuade them and they moved to Cali. Since she was 18 her parents paid the mortgage, transferred the house over to her under her father name, and send money to her bank account monthly.

“Allie’s one smart cookie, she’s an honor student and that graduated among the top 5% of her class. She is a junior at UGA, Studied there all three years so far, majoring in Sociology and psychology and minors in Literature.” Garcia said

“There’s no way she could be the unsub.” Morgan said after a pause.

“Your right, chocolate thunder, I’ve check out her alibi for the first murder and she was at a literature convention in Atlanta. On the second and third murder she was working in UGA’s writer studio. And on the fourth murder, she was at the hospital like her friends said.” Garcia said with a smile.

“Morgan is right, what if she’s not the unsub, but has connection to the unsub. Morgan, you said she knew all four victims?” Rossi said as everyone looked at him.

“Yeah, she told me she sat next to them in class.” He admits. Garcia then confirms what he says by pulling up Allie’s schedule and stated that she had at least one class with each of the victims.

“If the unsub is obsessed with her for some reason, he might see the victims as obstacles standing in his way from getting to her. Like in Jordon Cain’s case, the unsub might have saw that Cain and Allie are close and feels threaten by him.” Reid said with a concentrated look on his face.

“So she could be closely tied to the unsub in some way. That means that she might be in danger.” JJ said with a worried look on her face.

“I told her that tomorrow I’ll be picking her up to drive her here.” Morgan said and Hotch nodded his head in approval.

“Okay, tomorrow Morgan, you and I will both talk to Ms. Blackwell. We’ll try to find out if she has any enemies or ex boyfriend that still hold grudges. Rossi, Prentiss, Reid and JJ will go back to the campus and go to her classes to see if anyone is act odd because from her absents.” Hotch orders

Later that night, Morgan had trouble sleeping. He couldn’t stop his thoughts from coming back to Allie Blackwell. Even after just meeting her twice on the same day, he couldn’t help but be worry for her. She felt so small in his arms while he was holding her and comforting her. She looked to innocent to be tangled in the twisted web that this unsub was making. He wanted to protect her from all the evil of this word.

Those thoughts bother the agents, he’s been working as a profiler for over 5 years and have seen many things and talked to many people. Yet this is the first time he felt so emotionally attach to someone on the case. That is very dangerous for both him and his team. If he does something out of line, it could place the whole team in jeopardy.

He spent the whole considering his option and by the time the morning came, he made up his mind. He would remain professional, but also protect her.

Sadly for the agent it was easier said than done.

September 28: Day 3 8:00 AM

Morgan pulls up to Allie’s house and walked out of his car toward the porch. Just like the night before, he knocked twice and waited for her to answer. When no one answers, he decided to ring the doorbell twice and waited. Again no one answer, panic sets in and he couldn’t help but think that the unsub took her.

He was just about to kick the door down when the door open revealing a sleepy Allie. She was still in her sleeping clothes. Morgan couldn’t contain the chuckled that came out as he stared at how absolutely adorable she looked when she rubbed her eyes, still sleepy.

“Good morning Ms. Blackwell.” Morgan said with a smile on his face. The chuckles came back when he saw her face scrunching up from that title.

“Morning agent Morgan… Unfortunately my mother is not here at the moment, you’ve missed her 3 years ago. ” Allie replies sarcastically before allowing the agent to enter the house.

“Not a morning person I see,” he said with a smile.

“Didn’t get a lot of sleep last night” She mumbled back and for a second the smile dropped from his face before it reappeared.

“Why don’t you get change and before we go to the station, I’ll stop by to get us some much needed coffee?” he said and Allie just nodded as she stumbles back up the stairs.

While waiting for her to change, Morgan took the time to study her house. He couldn’t help but feel nosy. The house was done tastefully with colors that made the house feel warm and welcoming. White, beige, brown, and burgundy were the main color theme.

The living room included a fake fireplace with a 62 inch flat screen TV on top of it. A glass coffee table was placed in front of the fireplace and with a loveseat on the other side. On other sides were two long couches.

From where he stands he could see the kitchen, which was much more elaborate then the living room. It looks like a dream kitchen from a magazine. He can assume that she enjoys cooking based on how grand the kitchen was. Beyond the kitchen was supposed to be a dining room but she seems to have other ideas with it because instead she transformed it into a big office.

Then he heard some shuffling and saw Allie coming downstairs.  This time, to his relieves and a bit of disappointment, she was wear less skin showing clothes. She came downstairs with a royal blue t-shirt and a pair of light blue skinny jeans. Her hair was pulled up into a high ponytail like last night.

“Ready? Ms. Blackwell” Morgan said as he watch her put on a pair of black flats.

Again she scrunched up her face, Allie nodded her head, but said “I am ready, but can you please call me Allie? Mrs. Blackwell is my mother’s name.”  That causes the agent to laugh and went to hold the door for her.

Allie reached for her messenger bag on the floor and made sure the alarm system was on before leaving out the door.

They made small conversation while drove to the coffee shop, then headed to the police station. The whole way, Allie’s heart was pounding in her chest. She wasn’t sure if she was really ready to face the reality. She’s about to help the FBI find the killer of her four dead friends.
