The gas station:
After ordering some Chinese food to go, Morgan drove up to a deserted gas station for gas.
He saw a silver Toyota pull up next to his SUV before a petite girl got out of the car. He watched while waiting for his gas tank to fill up as the girl paid for some gas with her card. She was really short, roughly around 5’2 compared to his 6’o frame and looks to be around 18 year old. She had really long hair that was tied up into a high ponytail. If he had to guess, he would say her hair is long past her back.
She seems to notice him and turned to give him a polite smile. Standing from his distant, he can see that she had a round face with side-swept bangs to frame her face. He couldn’t see her eyes from the bad lighting the gas station gave off, but she had full lips that were cherry red. Catching himself with that thought he gave her a quick smile, before turning his head, not wanting her to think he’s some kind of creep.
Both stood in silent when suddenly, a tall figure sneaked up behind the girl and grabbed her, maker her yelp in surprise. Hearing the yelp, Morgan turned back and saw her being grabbed with a gun to her head.
“Give me all your money and I won’t shoot you.” The male said in a rugged voice.
Morgan can see her face scrunching up and could understand why. The man was a black male, in his late 40s with dirty clothing. He looked like he haven’t showered or slept in weeks.
Quickly he grabbed his own gun and pointed at the man.
“Stop! FBI! Put your gun away and left her go!” Morgan yelled, making both the male and female look up at him in surprise.
“Shit, FBI, what the hell is one doing here.” The male said as his eyes filled with panic.
“Put that gun away and let her go.” Morgan said in a firm voice. His eyes strayed to the girl and saw her face filled with fear, he gave her a nod silently telling her everything will be okay before snapping his eyes back that the filthy man. Morgan slowly inched forward them.
“No way man, I just got out of prison and I’m not going back.” The man said before pressing the gun harder toward the girl head. Morgan can hear the girl whimper.
“If you shoot her, I shoot you.” Morgan said, his tone making a promise that the man did not miss.
“You let me go and I won’t shoo—“his words were cut off when the petite girl slammed her foot on the man’s foot with all her might. That causes him to drop the gun and let her go.
In a quick second, Morgan saw her turn around as the man lean forward to grab his injured foot she knees the man in his face. When the man body straightens out and he howl in pain, that was when she strikes again, punching him his nose.
Morgan heard a sharp crack and saw the girl wince. That snapped him out of his shock and quickly ran over to cuff the fallen man. He looked over and saw the girl holding her right hand to her chest.
“Are you okay?” Morgan asked as he roughly pulled the man to his feet.
“Considering the circumstances, having a gun to my head by a man three times my weight, I’ve okay. But my hand hurt.” She said but Morgan can still see the fear and pain in her eyes.
“That was awesome what you did; I think you broke his nose.” Morgan said trying to cheer her up as well as calm her down. That seems too worked because she broke out a smile on her face.
“Will he deserved it, but I’m not doing that ever again.” She said in a calmer voice. It seems as if the adrenalin rush has died down.
“Let’s hope it don’t happen again.” Morgan said before he heard the sound of sirens.
Just then the manager came rushing out. “I saw what happened and called the cops! Are you two okay?” he asked as he ran up to them.
“That’s good. We’re both okay. But I think she needs to go to the hospital.” Morgan answer as the cop car pulled up to them. Morgan pulled out his credentials and told the officer to arrest the man for attempt assault and theft.
“No its okay, I don’t think I broke anything. I just need to put some ice on it.” She said
“You should still go and get it check out.” Morgan said walking up to her.
“No, I’m really okay. Maybe if I buy a pack of ice that for the ride home that would be awesome.” She said and the manager nodded his head saying that the ice was free and that he’s sorry for what that has happened at his gas station. He left them to get her a pack of ice.
“Are you sure? I can give you a ride home since you injured your hand.” Morgan said with a worry look in his eyes.
“It’s really okay.” She declined him. “Thank you for saving me.”
“Hey, no need to thank me; you’re the one that disarmed him.” Morgan said with a smile. His smile grew bigger when he saw her flush a pretty shade of red.
The manager came back with a big pack of ice and apologies again for what has happened. Both men watch as the petite girl got into her car and carefully drove away.
Morgan shook his head and gave out a chuckled at what had occurred. “That girl really was amazing.” Morgan thought to himself before he walked over to the officer. Both him and the manager told officer what had happened and Morgan let the officer take the man in prison.
Getting into his car, he was halfway to the police station before his phone rang. Putting the phone to his ear, he answered, “Hay baby girl,”
“Hello hot chocolate, you haven’t called me the whole day, I was beginning to think that you’ve forgotten about me.” Garcia said in a flirty voice through the phone.
“Ha, how could I forget about you, baby girl? Beside what do you have for me momma?” Morgan replied with a smile.
“I have the address for one Allie Blackwell, Hotch want me to send you the address and have you go talk to her.” Garcia said
“Okay send it Garcia.” Morgan said
“Sending it to yah GPS….now” Garcia said
“Thanks baby girl.” Morgan said before hanging up.
He looked at his GPS before making a turn toward the destination.
Driving in the neighborhood, with the help of the GPA he was able to find the house rather easily. The house was a two story building with tall hedges acting as fences around the back of the house. The drive way only had one car and the lights were on. Morgan thought it was odd that the car in the driveway was a silver Toyota, but then shrug since thousands of people own the same model.
Getting out of the car, he walks up the drive way and toward the nice porch. Ringing the doorbell twice, we waited for someone to answer.
He heard something dropped from inside the house, sounding like pots and pans before the door open and the person from the other side of door gasped.
For a few minute no one said anything before Morgan broke the silent and said. “Hello again”
