Allie Blackwell’s House

“Hello again”

To say that both people were surprised was an understatement. If there was ever a coincidence, this would be it.

“Um, I am Agent Morgan with the FBI. I have some question concerning the murder of four people from your school. Can I come in?” Morgan asked, looking at the shocked girl in front of him.

He could see that she her clothes were different from before. At the gas station, she wore a pair of dark skinny jean and a grey hoodie. Now she was wearing a pair of black short and a light blue tank top that showed a lot of skin… and cleavage. He mentally slapped himself for thinking like that.

It took her a moment before she clears her voice and nodded her head. She stepped out of the way and let him in, closing the door behind him.

“Um, please have a seat. Would you like anything to drink?” she asked as she led him to the living room.

Morgan watched her walk to another room and saw that it was the kitchen. She quickly went over and turns the flame off and walk back to him.

“No thank you, I’m good.” He said taking a seat on one of the couch that was close to him. She got a cup of water before sitting down on the opposite side of him.

“Is your parent here? I have some question I wish to ask you, but will need them here.” He asked

She looked at him for a few second before answering, “My parent does not live here anymore, they moved up to California almost 3years ago. My sister is still in the states but she in Macon. I live here alone.”

That was shocking to Morgan so he asked, “Sorry, but how old are you?”

“I’m 20, will be turning 21 in November.” She answered.

Again, this news shocked the agent. The girl in front of him looks no older than 18.

“I’m sorry, I’m just surprise. You look a lot younger.” He said with a smile.

At that comment she laugh, “Thanks, I’ll take that as a complement.” She said causing both of them to smile.

“As I’ve introduced before, I am agent Morgan from FBI’s Behavioral Analysis Unit. We’re work mostly on serial killer case, and was called here because we suspect that there is a serial killer in your school.” he said after the laughter has died down.

After receive a nod from her to continue, he asked “Is it okay if I ask you a few questions?”

“Of course, ask away.” She replied.

“Allie, your friend said you knew Amanda Jones and Jordon Cain. Is that correct?”

“Yes, that’s true; I sit with both of them in class. Though I don’t know them that well, this is my first year of college… Wait did you just say Jordon Cain? What happened? Is he okay?” Allie answers with panic laced in her voice.

Morgan cursed at himself in his head. She didn’t know about the murder that happened.

“Yes, I am so sorry to have to tell you this, but Jordon’s body was found yesterday.” He said and rushed over to comfort her as she let out a choked sob and a few tears fell from her eyes.

He knew it was unprofessional, but he has just informed her that another of her friend was murdered after already knowing that a two of her other friends were murdered as well.

“I… I don’t understand… He was fine on when I spoke to him… He…took me to lunch. He was trying to cheer me up…Oh god… Now he’s gone…” she wept

He held her to his chest and allowed her to grieve the lost of her friends. Hearing the heart wrenching sound, he realized that she didn’t have anyone to help her through this. Her parent was in another state and her sister was miles away.

After a few moments, Allie finally calm down.

“Thank you, I’m sorry for ruining your shirt.” She said pulling away from him.

“It’s okay. I’m sorry that I have to do this, but can I ask you one more questions?” he asks and she just nodded.

“Do you also know Tracy Darwin and Denise Turner?”

With a slow nod she said, “Yes… I sit next to them in class.”

He nodded back to her before saying that he needs to make a phone call.

“Hello Hotch? I think I found our connection.” That was all he said.

“Right... Right... Okay… Tomorrow is probably better… Hotch, I just to inform her about Jordon Cain…Yeah…. Okay tomorrow.”  He said before hanging up.

From her seat, Allie can hear him talk but her mind was elsewhere. It’s shocking to find out the four of her friends were murdered. And agent Morgan said something about a connection… What does he mean? She wondered.

Hanging up the phone, Morgan turns to see Allie in deep thoughts, her left hand cradling her right hand. With a sigh he went to the kitchen and looked around an ice pack. It was an invasion of her privacy but he can see that the hand was bothering her.

Allie didn’t snap out of her deep thought till she felt something cold pressed against her hand. Looking down, she saw that agent Morgan was pressing an ice pack on her throbbing hand.

“Is it causing you pain?”  He asked as he was taking a seat next to her.

“Only a little bit.” She answered in a small voice.

“Here, keep the ice on it. It’ll keep the hand from swelling. Maybe we should go to the hospital.” He suggests.

“Thanks. But I spent two days in there, sorta dread going back.” She replied with a weak smile.

Morgan nodded his head understandingly. Looking at her, he can tell that she was exhausted, “Of course she is, she just spent two days in the hospital with the stomach flu, then the event at the gas station took place, now she just heard the news that one more friend of her was gone. She is beyond physically and mentally tired.” He thought to himself.

“You look exhausted. Why don’t you go and try to get some rest?” he suggests.

With a sigh, she nodded her head. It has been a long tiring day.

“If you don’t mind, can you come to the station tomorrow?” he asked

Again she nodded her head, too tired to say anything.

“Okay, I’ll take my leave now. But I’ll come to pick you up tomorrow so you won’t have to worry about driving.” He said.

Allie would have rejected his offer if she wasn’t so drained. With a small smile he told her bye before turning to let himself out.

He paused at the door when he heard, “Agent Morgan…” and turned back around. Allie was looking at him then at the floor.

“Yes?” he said turning fully around to her.

After a few moments she said “Um… I have school tomorrow though...”

Understanding what she means, he replied “I’ll have my boss call the school to excuse you from your class for the day. I’m sure they’ll understand.”

“Okay… Thank you. Night” Allie said, still not at the agent.

“Night Allie” He said before leaving.

Looking at his rearview mirror while he was driving away from the house, Morgan couldn’t help thinking about her. He really didn’t want to leave her all alone in the empty house.

In the house, Allie couldn’t help but think of the same thing. She might not have known him… But there’s no one else…
